Monetization is not possible without a license, because people receive a copyright notice to protect them from false claims and strikes by criminals. This way your content is safe. And it's literally the only way. When people search for "no copyright" music or similar terms, they obviously don't want any copyright issues. This is the only way to prevent them from any issues and harm, give them exactly what they want and keep their channels safe. We had a very quick look at you channel and your animations are awesome. And that takes a lot of time and effort. Because of that, here's some well-intended personal advice: if you have any ambitions here and don't want to risk losing your channel or the ability to monetize your videos forever if you don't mute all of the music, never use music by anyone who does not register their music with Content ID. We work with some of the biggest brands in the world and award-winning filmmakers and have seen countless cases of abuse of content of any kind. If the original owners of all rights don't register their music, anyone else can (and will). Then they gain power over the content of anyone who uses the music, since they can issue false claims and strikes against every single video that contains the music. The way we do it (and everyone does it who actually cares about what happens to the people using the music) is de facto the only way to protect video creators from being harmed by criminals. You should NEVER use music that is not registered with Content ID, unless you want to risk losing your channel and never be able to make a new one (worst-case scenario), spending weeks or months trying to clear the situation or never be able to monetize a video if they don't remove the fraudulent claim. Cases like these happen every single day and most of them take a lot of time and effort to resolve, and there's never a guarantee that they can be resolved. And that's the real issue. As you can see, not registering music with Content ID if you are the real owner would be completely irresponsible these days except if you don't care at all what happens to the people using the music. We not only give away tens of thousands of free tracks for non-commercial videos without monetization, tracks with the same quality as those our clients license (many even are the same tracks), we also do our best to protect the content of everyone using them. And it costs us a lot of time thanks to all the misinformation about Content ID out there spread by people who don't know anything about the reality of the situation, which leads to some creators shooting themselves in the foot by believing copyright notifications/claims are a bad thing. It might sound counterintuitive to some, to receive a claim to prevent claims (and especially strikes). But as long as RU-vid works the way it does and the world is full of people trying to make money off of other people's content or just harm them, that's the way it works. People who offer their music for free for commercial purposes must release it under a certain Creative Commons license (you can sort by CC in RU-vid search). If they don't, they can change their mind at any time and once more, everyone using the music is screwed. That's one of the many reasons people always buy licenses for any commercial use of any kind of content. And using CC music or even public domain music still doesn't prevent people from the scenario above, since others just claim it as theirs and register it with Content ID illegally. There even are whole companies that don't do anything but claiming classical music. Public domain music like this must not be registered, since obviously anyones interpretation would be claimed. But they do it and skim the money from those who don't dare to dispute. Sony once started claiming white noise as their property. That was fun too. It definitely doesn't matter at all to us if you use our music or music by others, but we really hope the information above helps to keep your content safe in the future. If it's a channel that uploads music by others, try to go one step further and look up the track on the artist's channel, if possible. If you're also looking for music in different libraries or marketplaces, just make sure the website mentions that the tracks are registered with Content ID (at least in the FAQ). Some only have registered tracks, others search functions let you sort by registered tracks. We'd always heavily recommend to stay away from anyone advertising non-registered tracks, no matter if libraries or any of the "no copyright" channels on RU-vid that promise people won't get claims. Those promises are complete nonsense, as you can clearly see if you read the answer to the comment above or have a look at our FAQ. In general, by now pretty much any music from real composers and musicians is registered or will be soon, since there is no other option anymore. The ones left are either people who make music as a hobby and don't know what they are doing yet, and the others are people trying to make profit from other people's content or simply don't care if people might lose control over their own content. This week alone, this very track here has been stolen dozens of times and was uploaded by other "composers" under a new title. And this track doesn't even have that many views yet. Imagine losing power over your content just because some 12 year-old decided to push a few buttons. We had countless cases like this before our music was registered. Not registering music with RU-vid is utterly irresponsible these days. No one except scammers, people re-uploading other people's content to make a profit and people who have no idea at all what they are doing would claim that you can use music safely without a claim by the real owner. It's the exact opposite of reality. And we certainly won't stand by watching people basically weaponize our music and harm anyone using it. No actual composers or producers would do that. Those who title music as "no copyright" or similar search terms and promise things like "no copyright claims and strikes, free monetization etc. etc." are lying straight to your face. It's fraud, actually. And many of those won't even know it since all they do is keep spreading misinformation by others without using their brains for a second. Many literally have no idea what they are doing at all and only want to make quick money, others have no idea at all and don't want anything but still harm everyone, others do it on purpose - the real scammers and other criminals, and of course shady wannabe "composers" who daily steal tracks, retitle them and sell them as their own. They even used our music to get deals with major labels like Universal and others. It's sad and quite pathetic to be honest, but that's the way it is. This makes it harder and harder to even give away music for free, because keeping everyone safe using our music for free turned into a full-time job no one pays us for Our music is 100% safe on RU-vid. Just keep in mind, we can't give any guarantees for TikTok, they're pretty much do what they want, some people get their content muted, no matter what kind of music they use.
