I Love this!!!! I've been wanting to add in some color without cloring my locs because the color would run. This has me ready to cut my locs and buy up a whole lot of colorful hair and do this as I geow it out. Thank you for sharing this!!!

I gave this style a go over the weekend and it took forever and I have been braiding my own hair for years. Took me at least 4 hours to prep the braids....then at least 2.5 hrs to braid my own hair...The crochet bit took at least 4 hours and I had help too. I made 84 braids in all. Tips ladies...make sure you braid the Base of your hair loosely otherwise it'll be difficult for the braid to slip through the hair. Mine is so tight that I have a headache now...lol..don't know how freedom managed to be swinging her hair like that at the end of the video! Hope this helps.

Meanwhile this vido has been so helpful because today a friend of mine fixed this crochet brabraid but she did cornrows with her hair before she started and I asked the lady that fixed it for her if it's possible to fix the crochet braid on single braided hair just like u did but there was no specific answer and am so happy i just stumbled on this video ..thank u so much for this video pls keep doing more of this because you have no idea the help your giving to people out there(like me)...THANKS TO FREEDOM STYLES ..

This is gorgeous! And like TastePink said, it's beautiful on your skin tone. Was the hair heavy, though? Because I did mine with the crochet braids and it feels like I'm carry an extra 5 lbs on my head. It's annoying when I go to take a shower and have to put it up in a bun. I don't want another heavy style on my head.

Yes it will be heavy on theme and slips off when move around too much especially when their is oil or oily moisturizer in your hair it happen to me recently and it was a twisting style.
