My FIRST concert, i was 15yrs old, 1996, in Columbus Ohio....saw No Doubt and LOVED the experience of seeing a badass girl singing and the group giving their all. One of my BEST memories! Plus, i was totally rockin the Gwen look with my white tank crop top and wide legged pants! ❤
I'm 60 now, so i listened to classic rock when I was a kid. When grunge and No Doubt came out, that's when I really fit in. Like I finally belonged there. I related to all the music, and at the time I was 37. I always loved No Doubt.
From my hometown Anaheim! They're all I ever talked about growing up since Tony went to my high school and theyre all I listened to! So proud of our hometown group making it big!
I love Gwen! and I love No Doubt, but there was something about the 90s! I sometimes wish she would just rock out like she did back then! But I love her either way :)
+Peggy Bachler she's pretty regardless of wearing make-up or not!! yes definite beauty Bringing ska to the mainstream and adding fashion sense along the way!!
I think it's really sad that when it comes to women in music or in the arts of any kind it's always oh she's so pretty without this makeup or I wish she wouldn't wear this you can't focus on the actual talents and the artistry and the human being because the patriarchy is taught us to strip them of value if we do not find them conventionally attractive it's a shame
I remember back in 96, on Valentine's day seeing no doubt and goo goo dolls open for Bush,it was a great show,Gwen sounds just as good in concert as on the album
you missed out. i saw them during tragic kingdom tour. spiderwebs was just about to drop as a single. they blew the roof off the place. so much energy. so much love for their craft. i was so in love with that girl. she was the hottie of the 90s for sure
Before i ever knew of the history of the band, my chakras fuckn exsploded! one love , peace love harmonony NODOUBT. But then , and only then after i had watched a video\documentry on NODOUBTS past , history , the amazing flipps and tricks by all the members that were in when no doubt started it all the members who decided to or just left the band.... i mean all these facts being brought to my awarness ontop of me already loving them infinitly opened my eye, you could say as a intellect art sound addict, no doubts intellect within the lyrical and sound sense is a super power... i have no doubts in my mind its a beautiful infinite journy life is so good when no doubt incubus and tupac are blasting in my car NODOUBT (p.s my moms names is gwyn, the only other gwyn i know spelled diffrebt but i call her G.S
Thank you so very much for posting this vid. No Doubt really earned their fame, creatively, emotionally and physically. They all should be and I am sure they are all so proud from where they came. it's amazing to see the story unfold. The band is so much fun to watch.!
I was at the Irvine meadows show❤️. Growing up i was never allowed to go to a no doubt concert because it would get too wild but when they walked at the end of the Gwen concert...that probably was one of the most memorable moments of my life. The crowd went insane!!!
"...It was more like a fear of this is going of break us up somehow, that she's going to be pulled away". Ironically, that's exactly what happened eventually.
Regardless of you thinking you were fake, yes probably some of you all were a show, but your uniqueness, and parts of who you are and what you wanted to say were real and that's what made you famous, and you all more than earned it.
I don’t understand one thing. Whenever the band is presented, they mention Gwen, Tony, Tom and Adrian. But what about the other members? Are they just session musicians decade after decade?
Gwen went from super cute awesome rocker to a desperate clinging old too much plastic , too much makeup, too much drama. The ridiculous behavior with Blake is sickening
It occurs to me that if she gets away from Blake, and if she can withstand the emotions of it, she can write incredible songs about Gavin. Blake is a holding place, a distraction, God willing, because he is freakin' awful. I hate that he is near their kids.
gwen wanted toney kanals baby really bad they where to gather for 7 years, an gwen was nuts shewanted his baby like she want blake sheltons baby .toney kanal dumped gwen.
It was great until they were going on and on about being parents. Wow, you've done something that almost every other human being on the planet has done. How super awesome and unique. Ugh. In my opinion, parenthood is when rock stars lose their edge.
LOL, these documentaries are so full of crap, it’s amazing people believe all this. As if No Doubt could win over a male crowd in the 90s?! LOL I remember no men were bumping No Doubt back then, they were like N-Sync
I think all the songs were jams but if nothing else, Underneath it All was a gem single from the album. It still had that Caribbean influence in it, plus the chill guitar towards the end.
the only album i truly.love is tragic kingdom. and i love it. its one of my greatest music escapes. but i still love them no matter what. bc they were the group that broight me into it all. my first concert experience. it was a special moment for me. also i think dont speak should go down as one of the great songs from the 90s. top 10 easy
