So glad it worked man and got your laptop back up and working.For future reference I recommend using a third party piece of simple software named "rufus" and use it to make a bootable usb stick using a downloaded windows version(it can be from microsoft directly or even a torrent or disc image that you might have).But even with that you can still run in the same issue and have to run the steps in this short.Cheers buddy and really happy once again.💪💪💪

Hi there buddy,well I guess that even after 15 hrs its still better to have fixed the issue then to not fix it at all.As per the RAM issue I think you should double check that your CPU and Motherboard is compatible with the stick you placed in there.Some boards and CPU's dont take some manufacturers and speed certifications of some of the ram sticks.You can check this by going to the CPU/MOBO website and see the compatibility table.Cheers and hope this helps 💪

search system information on your computer and look for BaseBoard Product, once you have your motherboard name search your model drivers example: b460m pro4 drivers download the floppy driver and then try those instead of the one he showed. @@jodshdow

Hi,it seems to me you are tryin to install straight out of linux but this is meant for install while in the boot menu.why dont you just make yourself a partition for windows while in linux and then boot of your windows installation usb drive and install it on the new drive your just made.And if your dont see the new drive,then you can use IRST while in the install boot phase and access the .exe from there for the drive to pop up.Cheers buddy

Hi there,well I chose to go over to the ASUS website as the laptop I wanted to install windows on was from ASUS.It doesnt matter in the end as the IRST software is not only specific for a brand as it is meant for windows on all platforms.Cheers and I hope this video was helpfull

Just extract the raw files from the downloaded archive,create a file on your drive and copy them over there.

So just to try and help out here.Firstly make sure your usb drive isnt formated on a mac specific type like "mac journal" or something along those lines.You should format the drive as NTFS so that windows can as well see the data on there.Once you have your drive formated in the NTFS format then you can copy the files over but make sure also to open the archive and add all the files in a folder on the drive.Try it out like this and it should work.Cheers bud

Im not really sure I know what computer you have but basically after you install windows on your machine, you should let it run its updates and it should automatically install all the need drivers.If you have other issues get back to me with a reply to this comment.Cheers buddy

Hello when you enter in the bios do you see your hard drive ? when you arrive at the point were it ask drives press SHIFT and F10 it will open command prompt then tape DISKPART hit enter then tape list disk .. if it show your hard drive you can fix it.

@@computechsni ran hp diagnostics to see if there was any problem and it gave me warnings about the ssd.

​ @Naxx_v Hi there,well just in case you haven't managed to solve your issue by now, here is what you have to do.You have to use another PC or laptop in order to download and transfer over the files from the website found in the description.Get your Windows 10 USB drive and just click and drag over the folder downloaded from the website,in the same directory along with all the other files that are required for the windows installation.Just make sure when you go over the IRST website to go over at the top of the page and click the "Driver&Utility" tab and select Windows 10 from the drop down menu.Once you have the folder over on the thumb drive just take it as is,and place it in your USB port over the laptop or computer that you want to install windows on and start the windows installation steps.Once you get to the tab where you should select the partition that you want windows to install on(the same one you cant find),click the "load driver" tab from under the table and find the folder that you just dragged over from the IRST website on your USB Stick.Click OK then hit NEXT and you should now be able to see the partition that you want windows to install on.Hope this helps and get back to me if you have any other issues.Cheers

I have a rog zephyrus m16. after a bios update my windows crashed. so I'm trying to install w 11 through USB media. I'm a tech guy myself and I also work in the field but could not find a solution for weeks. even with commands I couldn't check for disc nothing comes up it only shows the USB I'm using

@baymax24434 Ok,I'm to speed here then and I get you.Well it seems to me that somehow your drive might have gotten damaged during the bios update or somehow.Is there anyway you can open up your machine,get the drive out and install a new one in there and maybe reconnect it after you are done with the windows install on the new drive and see if it pops up then?.My thinking is that you should try and use this (presumably bad drive) as an add on to an existing good known working pc that boots into windows so that you can get access to more elaborate recovery software.I'm sure that maybe by now you had already tried(if you could get the drive to pop-up) to do a format on it as maybe its format type got changed in the update process.I had issues in the past with drives that just went haywire and changed their NTFS format during a windows crash and then I had to format them in order to get them going.Of course loosing all the data in the process.....If you want,join me over on discord and we can bounce ideeas together faster.Cheers bud

@@SlimeMcxx Did you try the IRST method?It doesn't have to come from HP since its a third party software.Its basically as easy as to copy the folder to your USB drive where you have the windows and then you will find your drive when you click on browse just like in the video.I know you do need another pc or laptop to do it on but this happens because the current ssd or hard drive in your machine is not configured at all and the Windows installation kit can't detect the drive at all since its not recognized in this format.The ideea is that you have to initialize this drive so one other way would be to install another drive in your machine(if you have two slots) and boot off this other one and then go into windows drive manager and format this new drive that way.I know its a hassle and I just dont know why manufacturers send new drive in this unconfirmed state.

Update open zip archive extract all make a new file and copy all extraction failed into new folder and copy to usb ❤️
