NO ELEVATOR Asylum Run to farm Asylum Worker Uniforms in Fallout 76 - RARE APPAREL 

I was doing dress runs the other day, and I got up to the third floor, and all I heard was some dude in area chat freaking out because he had found a red dress. It was quite funny listening to him, helped me get over the fact that I just missout on one.

I've used several methods over the past year or so. Here is the most tried and true method. This will require Fallout 1st and completion of the quest line to access the elevator for the most efficacy. To start, whether you are in a public or private server you travel to the asylum. Make your way to the 3rd floor location where the dresses spawn. Check to see if any are there. Stay on the 3rd floor and join a daily ops. Quit to main menu from daily ops. Start your private server and you should be on the 3rd floor where you were before joining daily ops. Check for the dresses. If all 3 locations have a dress and none are rare join daily ops again. Quit. Now to avoid rejoining the same private server you must start creative world(you may need to create a world to start the load in). As soon as the "R2 + L3" option appears hit them. Now start a private world and it will be a new one. Load in and repeat. Now if you join the private world and there are no dresses on one, two or all three locations you will either take the elevator back down to the entrance or just out in the hallway from the wing with the dresses you can drop from the 3rd to 1st floor to land right I front of the button activated door. Go to the main entrance to the asylum and exit and reenter the building a total of 6 times. That's out and in counting as one time. Go back up and you will see that dresses Now appear. You may have to do this once more for a total of 12 times altogether to get all 3 to appear. I've never had to do more than 12 in a private server. I started using this method just as Faschnacht ended thus year. Using the old method my dress count was 1 Red, 3 Pinks. ( 11-12 months of farming). This method 1 Red, 4 Forrests, 4 Yellows and lost count on Pinks. I don't puck up any color other than the 4 rarest. It would be too many to keep up with. I normally run until I find a pink or better and it's never taken longer than 10 servers. Good luck and I hope this helps. Oh and take your time and be patient. It's seems like a lot, but once you get it down it's easy. Grind away now children.

Once you get access or you get to the 3rd floor. If you stay there, go into Daily Ops, Exit server, change to new one. You will spawn right into the 3rd floor again and it will respawn your attempt. You can keep doing this for as long as you want.

This was quite helpful. It has cut my search times greatly. First time looking into spawn rates for those, truth be told. Saved me a lot of time on searching the place. Cause I thought they had a chance spawning anywhere in there. So the first few times I was clearing out the whole place in the search.

Additional you don't need a jetpack to get up through the hole, just place your power armor down and you climb up the power armor. Also absolutely loving your videos. ❤

I’ve done it both ways, using the elevator and going up the long way. I’ve only found the white and yellow dress so far but I haven’t gone as frequently as I should. I got the green dress from a random completed cop a squatter so that was nice, that just leaves me with all the rest of the colors. I had no idea that was a shortcut, I usually just end up farming junk when I do my runs into the asylum anyway lol. Now I’m inspired to do more. I had no idea why it was suggested to leave the dirty uniforms so thanks for explaining that, I actually don’t need to pick up a million of the things since I already pick up a boatload of spacesuits looking for the mythical clean version and would rather sell those since they are worth more selling to the robots.

Finally, I found today Red dress, was my second try on public server. I didn't believe for a long time that it came so easily, it was right after the fasnaht event ended when I decided to go Asylum just in case

The elevator method is by far still the fastest for me, I've been testing this and timing it for the past couple days. Starting the timer from the moment you can start moving after loading into the Fort, it takes ~12 seconds with perfect jumps off the wall to the stairs to enter the hallway with the rooms, and ~7 seconds to take the elevator and enter the hallway. I think, though, the jump method might be faster if you are on console or a slow PC that can't load the elevator load scene fast. I'm on a pretty high end PC with FO76 installed on a high end NVMe SSD.

Ive got a quicker way: pop a canned coffee once through the main door run to the left, jump onto a small section of floor on the second floor then jetpack your way through the holes in the ceiling to the third floor. Then just turn around and bolt for those dresses.

and great tip, farm the outfit and the healing salve at the same time, I found 3 healing slaves and 4 red dresses which I did not even need.

Equip Perceptibobble and Pannapictagraphist while doing this. There's a bobblehead and magazine on the floor above and you'll be detection range while looking for dresses.

So if I pickup a dress upstairs on a bed, does it keep ALL the other spawns from changing? Or just that one I picked up at

although it took near two years , i have found 1 red dress spawned . So those that think it will not spawn are wrong . The hardest thing is to walk away from rarer dress's . Though they pull in large cap values in your vendor . I now have 7 red dress's and numerous sets of other colors . Remember it will take 24 hours to reset after you choose to pick up a dress . You can just photomode through the locked door. Also I have 12 pinks, 10 forest,10 yellows and 15 of the blue/green. I got all them in lest them few months of farming.

This is how I used to do it. Now I jump onto the ledge on the left side of the hall and jetpack up through the hole in the floor.

I once found a Brown Clean Asylum in a locked Suite case but only ounce far from the Asylum. Wish it was a red or pink since there the only ones I'm missing

Can you answer a good question if I go on private mode can I find this faster or is it not available in private mode is it different where items dont spawn like being on public mode..??? Please make a video on this no one has the answer for my question I mean I pay for the service shouldt we be VIP's..???

The quickest way up is to just jet pack through the floor all the way up. As soon as you go through the door qith the red button, If you look up along the left wall there is a hole that goes all the way to the top. This puts you right in front of the steel doors that lead to the hall with the elevator and dress spawn locations.

The only dresses I didn’t get so far is the pink and the red. Still trying to get them .

Also, how do you obtain that outfit, I seem to remember it being a rare drop from events in savage divide but I could be wrong. Do you have a video about it and/or the travelers long coat?

A long time ago I got the red dress, I have no idea how I got it but I know for sure it wasn’t from the Asylum on the third floor because I didn’t grind for it back then, I don’t think I had access to the elevator back then and I didn’t know of any trick to bypass it. Once I found out how rare it was I started grinding for it for my other female character but never found it on the 3rd floor, I’m talking years of grinding. I treasure my one and only red dress.

Easiest method is to be on the 3rd floor, go into a Daily Op and then Leave World. When you load back in you'll load back into the aslyum on the 3rd floor.

Is it they reset every 24 hours per character or account?

Or you could just camera mode glitch through the locked door. I personally only use it if a quest is bugged and a key card won't work, which I've experienced twice so far but it's an option for those willing to use it for other purposes

I don't even go all the way to the stairs. I just jet through the hole in the ceiling on the left side of the hall. Jump up to tiny ledge on left side then jet through the hole in the ceiling.

I’m a little confused or extremely lucky 🍀 …maybe. I’m new and unknowingly picked up a white weathered dress at lvl3 right out of vault 76. I went to the right, out of the vault and knifed the gouls and looted the old buses and surrounding area.

Speaking of odds and percentages. My lvl 35 male character has never found a dress, anywhere. My lvl 3 character female found a dress immediately right outside the vault. QUESTION: Do you think the game increases the dress drop probability simply by the sex of the character? Hmmm? 🤔

Hi when this game first came out and we had a limited to 800, I had to clean my stash, at that time I did not know our even care as I was building my bloody Brotherhood guy me myself and eye😂, I had the red dress, forest dress and dumped then, what only ten caps, after 4000 hrs of gaming I have started to build a Barbie Doll, now looking for them dress, I've got the pink one, now red one 😂😂😂😂

Ohhh... That red nurses dress... I started seriously farming for it when the 'Invaders from beyond' was brand new. I have checked every single time I joined a new server since--easily over a thousand attempts so far. Not a single Red Dress. Every other colour but red. Luckily the Forest is considered to be almost as desirable and since it was duped less while that was still a simple process there are some who consider it to be more valuable than the Red. I don't know... I still want one for a Silent Hill cosplay over the scary scorched period!

You say there's only 3 spawns which is incorrect,there's a spawn on the washing machine on the bottom floor near the elevator that has a chance to have a dress,I've found many forest dresses there. 2. The 4th floor blocked by the elevator quest has another 2 spawn locations in the bos area

Side note, having fallout 1st makes it easier to farm via private world

But yeah , I've visited the Asylum every time I've logged in for years now and have only found the Forest , Blue and green . I hope Bethesda doesn't ruin the value on these super rare outfits by including them in event drops like the spooky treat bags and holiday gifts . or even worse ... the Atomic Shop ..

The elevator is like the fatest load time of anything in fallout so I still use it. Avoids wasting time with enemies.
