You are the first one to recommend getting the Epic from the Summon rush. Everyone else reviews of the Fusion said to avoid this. But you save by not having to get 4 rares, so that you can cut out a number events by getting the Epic. I am going for the fusion because the reviews of VK Wixwell was that he was great for Hydra and I can use better Hydra champions.
I just want to do a second post saying how many potions you will need in total to do this fusion... Please remember to have these and also remember that the void keep is only open on Sunday's so you only have 2 opportunities to get these, but always have plenty more than you need just in case you ascend a champ for any other reason, whether you accidently chose the wrong champ (it has been done) or you ascended a void champ doing your weekly quest, or simply wanted to gain some extra points ascending champs during the champ training event. Always have more than you need, always! It will also cost silver to upgrade these but I don't have those totals as I can't find that document where I worked it out so keep this in mind also. One last thing. As Colred pointed out in the vid, It also costs 300k silver each to fuse the rare champs into epics, and another 1mil to fuse Wixwell from the 4 epics that is a total of 2.200.000 or 2.2mil extra you need to save to complete the fusion. Don't miss out on Wixwell because you didn't factor in this extra silver cost, and the cost of ascending and ranking up your champs. Add another 300k for that to 2.5mil and you should be covered. I don't think it's that much extra for ranking/ascending but better safe than sorry. Void potions..... 160 small + 64 medium Force potions... 80 medium + 24 large Arcane potions. 80 small + 108 medium + 12 large One last thing that I just remembered is... When you pull your rares for the fusion, immediately lock them out so you don't accidently feed them. You will be surprised at how many times I've heard people say they had all the rare champs but accidently fed one or more so they lost out on the champ. Always do this in a classic fusion asap.
@Dharin. Thanks for the reminder about the silver - I REALLY wish Plarium would remove silver costs for champions. It's such an unnecessary and unfriendly little nuisance to have to worry about.
@@ColredPlaysRSL Yes it is, and these little things are coming back after such a long while since I did a classic fusion. I had to remind myself that many of the players are doing this for the first time and won't know all these things. I just remembered that I should have told people to lock out the rare as soon as they pull them so they don't accidently feed them, especially now, with the new tavern system. Not sure you can feed rares that way, but I'm going to edit my post, just in case.
I always watch these and pick up something every time. I had assumed the Epic you can get in Summon Rush was by finishing first in the group. I did not realise it was going to be a point theshold. Thanks for the video yet again.
I was planning on skipping, but then I saw another CC say something along the lines of "What if they add Wukong and Armanz to Sintranos waves? What if they release a boss who can place Sheep? You'll be really bummed you skipped." And I hate it, but they're probably right... but on the plus side, that got me to open my shards, and I scored 3 legendaries from 55 ancients, one of which is the 10x Wallmaster Othorion, as well as a dupe Sicia which will make my spider team reliable and fast.

I'm going for him as I have the resources and I always go for them nowadays, gotta catch em all (what else are you gonna do in a gacha game 😂) I might go for the epic because of lack of time, will have to see how everything goes until then. Hope everything is going well with the baby! Also, I'd be interested in a video highlighting what solo options exist nowadays, especially for F2P champs. I'm in need of some advice in general about team comps, gotta hit your discord more often.
@Deosis Absolutely. The discord is always a great place to get advice. I did a solo champ video awhile ago (maybe like 5-6 months ago), but I could probably do an update at some point. The video list is growing quickly these days, since I have less time now that the baby is here. He's going great, btw, thanks! Living like a prince! 🤴
One thing that might be worth noting is that champion Chase is first and summoner's rush is later. This means we can't take advantage of saving the heroes we are farming for the fusion for free points. So maybe it is a good idea to just start summoning and leveling the fusion rares/epics during champion training events. Seems a bit less friendly than normal but maybe makes the best of a bad situation.
Wait until the champ training tournament before you ascend your champs. You only get points for ascending during the tournament version of champ training, and not the event version. Same with books btw, not that you will be booking these champs ;)
@@ColredPlaysRSL No problem. It's a small detail and you had a lot to go through with a classic fusion. Many of the clan members probably have never been through a classic fusion as it's been so long. Good job btw :)

I mostly don't play enough to complete a fusion, but I'm going to try and see what I can accomplish this time. I've got more energy than I know what to do with. So only the shards will be difficult. Fingers crossed! Good luck to you too!
I will be trying to do this fusion on both accounts, as I think Wixwell will be very good in CB to shield the stun target plus that attack down/buff extension for my alt account, and in hydra as a Shamael replacement + a secondry provoker for HoD, and as a Mischief tank for my main when I eventually start to concentrate my efforts there. I also think he will do very well in Santranos against the stages he can be in and against Amius's stun. Intercept won't block his aoe sleep though, but it may be enough just for the stun to protect your cleanser/reviver. He is a solid A tier champ that will be good for all levels of players from new to almost end game imo.
@Dharin. Good luck on both account! I'm very happy to be down to one account atm. It's been nearly 2.5 years since I had only one account. Makes the game a LOT easier (but alts can be so much FUN!).
everybody in my clan was surprised when dungeon divers started out of nowhere and dragon 20 minutes after without any videos or even calendar in Plarium app I managed to use all my energy by the time this was up :/
@Wolcik3000 Yeah, I don't like the fact they hold the calendar now. They used to release it a day or two before the fusion. I hope they go back to that.
@supergualdo Good luck! I hope you get lucky with your shards! That's the nice thing about a classic fusion - you've got chances to pull the champs and make the whole event a lot easier. Then again, if you don't, it's more of a headache than a fragment event. But good champ - so go get him! 👍
I don't think I'll have the resources to do the Summon Rush, sadly. I currently only have 2 sacreds, 1 primal, and 4 voids. I may be able to get the sacreds from three referral accounts by the end of the SR, not sure. This definitely seems like a rough fusion, partly because I am really low on void potions and that's a LOT of void ascending to do :P The plus side is that I did manage to pick up a couple of good epics (Including my copy of Geomancer...) and a Padraig or however you spell it, from the CC. I did have to buy some shard packs, unfortunately.
Opened 42 ancients and was a little short of the rare in champion chase so opened 6 voids and pulled 3 of the fusion rare 😂.. have 5 copies already from just chase and dragon 👏🏻
Hey guys, just a quick question for anyone out here... This is the first fusion I'm attempting (playing less than 5 months)... I was lucky enough to pull 1 of the 4 required epics in the champion chase and built her and ascended her to her required 5 stars. I've got 6 of the rares (soon to be 7 with ice golem almost complete). When would the right time be to start fusing my rares? Especially since there's no reward gained for them in the summon rush. I'm pretty sure that 25 will add a fairly large increase to stamina cost for dungeon divers. Dungeon divers already take a pretty large amount of stamina so something to think about.
For tournaments, stage 20 is the most energy efficient. However, if you don't mind being a little inefficient, stage 25 has better drops. I tend to stick to 20 myself.
@PerryTheBerry95 Sorry to hear that. Saving is the name of the game, especially if you're F2P. For my first 18 months in the game, I only went for every third fusion or so. Eventually you'll get enough resources to go after every fusion, if you want, but it takes some time and practice to get there. I wish you luck for next month!
@Cheese-It117 Ouch! Sorry that happened, but that's exactly why I mentioned it - it can be easy to miss the window with these classic fusions. It may, or may not, have happened to a particular content creator in the past...
