"Kashmir is a beautiful prison" I went to visit Kashmir a fortnight back and I am in love with the place and it's people who are so warm and welcoming .Their stories have left a mark on me... There's two sides to every story and contrary to what the media portrays or what the govt says... it's a safe place for tourists. So those of you holding back..you are missing an experience of a lifetime.

Basically the idea that one can grasp from the trailer (at least) is that Kashmiris are subjected to senseless atrocities by the armed forces and are only part victims in the whole Burning-Kashmir narrative. I really hope we instigate a sense of maturity and not call picking of arms an innocent child's play. There have been greater atrocities on other religious factions in Kashmir that no artist wants to talk about. I really wish this film maintains a balanced vision whilst dealing with the situation.

Being a close friend with a Kashmiri, he told me factions like Al Baqr, People's League, Wahdat-e-Islam, Allah Tigers and Hizbul Mujahideen asserted total dominance in the valley during the 90's. Banning all forms of entertainment and personal freedom to instate the Islamic Caliphate in Kashmir. It was the death of secularism and the initiation of fanatic regimes. The common Kashmiri is struggling in the crossfire, and the Kashmiri culture is being trampled to oblivion.

Kashmir is an integral part of India. We don't believe in the ideology of Nation on the basis of religion(though our ancestors did a mistake which is Pakistan due to extremist jinnah and his Direct Action Day) that is why India is secular and Pakistan is Islamic nation.Nehru's UN mistake was solved in Shimla aggrement.(VASUDEV KUTUMBAKAM)World is a family.2nd largest Muslim population lives in India peacefully(except very very few condemnable instances). There will be no army and casualities(of Kashmiris and army personnel) if some Kashmiris(all Kashmiris don't want separate Kashmir or integration of Kashmir into Pakistan) will stop terroism(supported by Pakistan).Question is why they want separate Kashmir and answer is pan islmaic movement.Killings of terrorists and some innocent local residents by mistake during encounter of terrorists is used by local separatists to mind wash the kashmiris.Local separatists leaders are earning lots of money from Pakistan and their children are studying in foreign.India is giving Kashmiris everything and loves Kashmir and Kashmiris. We will never ever separate Kashmir or give kashmir to Pakistan.Don't waste your time and future by pelting stone and supporting terrorism.Just live and let live.

In his previous movies Director greatly presented the facts and true version of many present Kashmiris, kudos to Ashvin for his effort in meeting people to bring such deep insights, it's great that film was able to extract facts from the hearts of many. While the film is covering the truth of life of Kashmiris from past few decades, it may be good idea bring 360 degree perspective of situation from each side to enable every one think about a solution which makes the day to day life of each citizen in Kashmir smooth and they full-fill their life and career ambitions and Kashmir remains a real PARADISE to everyone. Situations and facts: - Day to day life of every Kashmiri is horrible, people are going through trauma. - State has deployed Military is large scale to maintain Law & Order and Security of the Nation, as this area being a Boarder with a nation that we have National level conflicts. - There are no issues between citizens of the both sides of boarder or with in the J&K - J&K Police or Indian Army by virtue and training values nation first and prioritizes their duty as top most thing - The separatist moment is hijacked by external forces and the direction of the issue is hijacked toward making Kashmir as stepping stone for a larger objective - The state has missed to be in mainstream along with other states, because of various factors that happened in past and even today. - In Indian and in majority of countries there are many diverse and unique cultures living together as a state and happily maintaining their traditions, culture and identity. - So, it's important for native Kashmiris reach to the confidence of being able to live in a larger state with their unique culture. - Any issues become more and more bigger, when there are no consensus or mutual agreement. Time makes these even bigger as there will be more bad examples from each side of the story. - Unfortunately, majority urban people of time and energy is going towards fighting the conflicts and agitations. - No tall leadership locally to bring back the focus of innocent Kashmiri youth towards their individual and their family well-being. - Each Individual can contribute to positive change in their life towards the betterment of everyone else life. Fact is that we will lose lives and generations just fighting conflicts. - Majority local separatist and political leaders are playing on emotions and no one is seriously helping to realize the loss each one has gone through and helping overcome that loss. Lives/Emotions/Tragedy/Families/Freedom/Energy ass these aspects are impacted in a big way. Actions and possible solutions: - There should be some volunteering from all sides (NGO, Government, Media, Film etc) to enable the state gets better facilities, Infrastructure to enable People prosper. - Educate people for involvement in development and cut-down sources of breaking elements. So that there is real Governance in the state. - Non penetration of external forces will automatically take out needs of large problem of need for deployment of military or CRPF or Police in the civil areas, just by limiting to Boarders and Cantonments. - Government, Military, Media, citizens and movie people to realize that every human being by their basic nature as being "humane" and enjoys love and compassion. However, when there is conflict OR personal growth OR personal risk OR Personal success, these being humane factors are not prioritized. - Every militant is correct as per their belief, every military person is correct as per their duty and even an enemy is also correct based on his duty. So, there is no need to demonize one who are correct from their side. Army is doing their duty by saving nation, militants are doing his duty based on their ideologies. It's always easy to blame one, but correcting it at root level is not simple.

Really thanks for spending such time to express ur opinion Look I'm kashmiri also But I think over issues like a strange man. I don't support violence but Kashmir when it was under Sikh rule Kings at those times they also didn't wanted to let outsiders to stay in this area that is why 35 A came in existence. Look I'm kashmiri I know Better about circumstances than people living in new Delhi or other Almost 90% kashmiri want freedom They want to build separate nation They don't want to be with Pakistan but they love Pakistan becoz of religion not any other factor . All over the world wars happen It happen between neighbouring countries So logic india - Pakistan wars would be same as that of other countries.. So It has nothing to do with religions.

I agree with all points except militant's ideology....In what way it is correct....They are just blind jihadis misusing Islam as per their own convenience.....Don't give them that status please🥺🙏We also care about Kashmiris and are worried about their future and well being

@@saimabhat5245 Do you understand the meaning of genocide? Genocide is also the erasure of culture. How many Kashmiri pandits are there in Kashmir today? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exodus_of_Kashmiri_Hindus I'm glad that the Modi govt has brought Kashmir directly under central control. Looking forward to the day when Hindu refugees can return to their homes in Kashmir.
