This, well said!! 😂😂 That's the thing about Tommy, the show is very good at not letting us go too long without reminding us exactly who he is. It would be easy to portray him as some kind of savage saint amongst his peers because he is so exceptional in many ways; but make no mistake - you don't become the undisputed leader of a gang like this without being seriously damaged and mean as hell. Brilliant work all around, kind of a British Sopranos in a way.

I believe Grace’s family was actually in the cavalry units during the war and looked down at Clay Kickers like Tommy and his family. In fact some theorized that the Burgess family wore they’re more prestigious uniforms to remind the Shelbys of their superiority.
