Actually dude the ochako change was a huge buff. Because now when you reach lvl7 on her beta you will be able to use her car. Instead of getting her beta to lvl9.

that matching thing is great happy to know i can now play ranked consistently but tbh i still get kick even now because of the bs with how people think rank equal skill and ask you or checking you pf for you rank like a wierdo Edit: tried to pull for overhaul with 600 and on the last pull I saw his face got ecstatic but it ended up being his skin the only thing that got me excited was being able to play my favorite character but after that it killed my hole mood and confidence to even play the game more it doesn't help that the ways to get tickets is absolutely horrid I might just skip this sesone ngl

Nah bro they should’ve never hid the rank. The amount of times I’ve given lower ranks a chance just for them not to spawn with the rest of the team, spawn across the map and get dropped off then quit all within 30 seconds is crazy. If they give higher ranks an entry discount for playing with lower ranks then this is a good but otherwise this is awful.

I understand all for one needed a tweak but sheesh. Sometimes I'd switch quirks just to see what level it is and now I'm punished for 10+ seconds for that😭😭😭

The AFO change while not touching Toga is one of the dumbest things I've seen in all honesty. Toga does not have to down the player, she just uses a RANGED AUTO LOCK ability to siphon the blood then has access to the SPECIAL ACTION AS WELL and can tea bag and have Toga's ENTIRE KIT OFF OF COOLDOWN. Meanwhile AFO has to commit the whole 30 seconds with no special action at all? Thats one of the craziest things I've seen in game balance history tbh. I don't really play either of them often, but I think AFO is a cooler designed character because he's significantly better when using teamwork

I’m guilty of kicking and leaving low rank players. I know it doesn’t often equal skill but when I’m grinding to rank up it’s really frustrating to get bad or tm8s wor people don’t care and leave mid game. When I started kicking I ranked up a lot quicker. I REALLY hope the change that increases chances of getting same rank actually works

Basically when Iida levelled up his jet thrusters whilst in use of them, it would cancel them out, now it doesn’t!

For the iilda one It's technically a nerf because most iilda Would use level up cards in a leveling up his gamma As a way to cancel his gamma before they end up going into engine failure Now they can't do that anymore

The nerf on AFO is pretty ridiculous to me. It's bad enough getting targeted constantly and his attacks make him super vulnerable to anyone ganging up on him. Forcing AFO to stay swapped is really ass while letting toga have so much freedom and movement.

I think they want players that haven’t bought the License Pass to see what other rewards they’ll miss out on when getting their rewards. I don’t think you see that when it automatically gives you the stuff after battles

I honestly think the AFO nerf is huge, his ability to insta swap between quirks was fundamentally really busted imo. Even the CHANCE that he could triple gamma is too much, and i think the committing to a quirk change will help balance him out a lot. Now i still thing his kit itself is too good, but i think this is a good step in the right direction. (I've just been informed that the Special Action cooldown is 30 seconds???? Bro??? Ill have to check this myself later unless somebody knows for sure) Im pretty neutral on Kaminari at this point, i feel like the fundamental issue of him being built around a stun system is just going to be really strong and annoying to deal with, so they'd have to nerf him into the ground for him to feel reasonable, and i just dont see that happening. I dont like that his alpha traps got a buff tho, that one felt unnecessary. Toga's transform being untouched is a lil annoying after the AFO nerf. I think her beta being nerfed was pretty huge in making her more balanced, but the fact that she can still insta swap between characters like that is too broken to me, especially since it resets her gamma. The Iida gamma change is actually really good because it just means that his gamma wont be cancelled prematurely by leveling up, and if he uses it, he uses it until it stalls. I still this hes a very strong character, but this makes his gamma way more committal and is pretty overdue for a change, so this is good. W Ochako buffs 💪 Todoroki buff is good, helps balance his skill out with Overhauls by giving Shoto more range to compliment Overhaul's greater width. I still think he should be able to jump out of his gamma early though, feels like a no-brainer buff at this point and i dont really get why he can just end it early for greater control and movement. His gamma movement being such a committment, especially at higher levels, is really annoying to me. Kirishima needs actual buffs :( Honestly Endeavor changes are good. His beam will still be really dominant with aim assist, and idk how they could work around that, but its good that they made an effort to nerf his frankly absurd number of shots for later levels. And i did think Prominence burn needed a buff, so this is pretty huge, might actually start playing him more Goddamnit make Compress's alpha cause the recovery state already. Like 3 trucks dropped on your head should be the point where you character takes knockback. W buff, but itll only be a true W when his trucks are made to be more reasonable

Don't let this distract you from the fact that Toga got a MASSIVE buff. .. She can spam overhaul's special action. Also the all for one nerf is so absurdly idiotic. So many viable nerfs they could've given him but they gave this trash.

Nah It’s actually so dumb that Toga gets to abuse the thing AFO was doing but he can’t. I don’t even main them but it really just isn’t fair. It’s like AFO has the Walmart version of Toga’s ability 🤦🏻‍♂️ .

The backhand technique is good against grab-style characters but smart players can still use them to counter Overhaul too. Bait him into using his backhand to stop him from ever having the ability to heal. That's worked a couple times for me already since the backhand does very little actual damage so you can take the hit to stop him from using his Special at full charge, also the grab ability has a faster cooldown so the 3rd hit you land will do damage that he can't do much about. Keeping the pressure on him in such a way can make characters with grabs surprisingly risky for him to face.

a few things as someone who often plays these characters for Iida that nerf is actually a pretty big one in my opinion what it did is making it so you can reset your burst after using a level up card on it and before you could just go into burst in a fight and before it runs out level it up and not suffer any consequences from it and it was pretty crazy and needed to be fixed because you could easily abuse it for kaminari that buff is actually pretty helpful because often people didn't get stunned or hit despite clearly being hit it's a buff sure but it's one that fixes a annoying issue so in my opinion it's fine. on the point of toga's transform you really don't want that to get a big nerf unless your really want more staby stabs her transform is part of the reason i personally find her fun. if the y needs to get nerfed than just let it be a damage nerf tbh i think the ofa nerf is pretty stupid as well because it removes one of the key aspects of his kit that makes him unique and fun now people aren't gone bother with that and just use him for his sucking ability. i don't play afo but if something similar happened to toga i would be really pist i don't play the character but just like with the y with toga i would rather take some kind of nerf to alpha instead of making what makes him unique almost pointless

I wanna use iida without getting turned into swiss cheese iida and every non range characters need damage reduction buff because if your not a range character you lose every time it's completely unplayable

AFO special action will now be better for finishing characters than what it was intended for. It's really OP that you can do it over and over as long as you don't switch to the plundered skills. Cost no attack charges and finishes faster than regular finish.

Twice got a buff to his gamma. He now travels to his target instantly instead of it taking a second

Man, as an AFO player the nerf is something... I understand how annoying to refresh the abilitys and to use like 2 Y in a row but AFO is essay to counter when doing the Y you can dodge it so easy he doesn't have any mobility at all Like we have red Dabi he can just hit you with 2 B and you will find your self in the lobby and it's annoying so what l used to do is that l hit Y in a row to back him off me and my teammates and he might die from the zone itself but now you can't🙂🙂 With that special action nerf you might be stuck with some weak quirks for 30 l guess Toga is still a winning card🙃🙃

I honestly judge based upon your rank because I gave a lot of chances and always regret playing with low ranks and if you hide your stats I don’t even give u a chance most individuals that hide their stats are not good team mates I’m not the best but I definitely take rank seriously

To be very fair with the rank situation, i only kicked people because checking their profile they would be relatively new to the game. Especially last season where every match I would get the base Deku’s and Bakugo’s and checking their profile they only played like 30 matches or so.

You don't have to worry about the denki buff cause they made that change like 1 or 2 seasons ago they just never updated it.

It baffles me that people still act like Toga is an all powerful menace and want her nerfed even more.😂 People complain about her Beta and Gamma like she has other viable options. Her Alpha is absolute garbage and completely useless before Lvl9 and and even then, it's only good for sniping weak opponents who stop to heal or finishing downed opponents from a distance. It's completely useless in a fight, unless your goal is to die quickly. 💯 I'm still convinced that the people who hate her because of her Beta and Gamma just can't roll/dodge🤷🏾‍♂️💯 Y'all just want to gut her character until she's bottom of the tier list when we have bigger issues, like Twice's Gamma stun and Kaminari's Human Stun Gun hitbox. I'd add Endeavor and AFO to that list, but they got needed nerfs.

Like, I don't know you guys, but I myself don't care anymore if my teamates rank is expert or ace, anything above Gold 1 already is acceptable for me, but in the end, every team your in should have at least one good player out of three... You (But still, I do think that they should let the ranks as it was but don't letting you form a party with three people of the same exact rank, like three gold 4 players, and giving a rank points boost to players with high rank that gets high assist/support points by helping the lower ranked and vice-versa, you know, ACTUALLY REWARDING PLAYERS WITH HEALTHY BEHAVIOUR) And I'd say from my experience, not being able to directly see others ranks made me a better player, cuz I stoped automaticaly planning on getting carried by the guy with higher rank and enter the battle with the "okay, I AM the one responsible for getting the W for us, I AM who will carry this shit, I AM THE HONORED ONE" mindset

To give my 2 cents on twice. The core problem is aim assist. In console he's problematic, but in PC he's fine. I've noticed that the people who usually complain about him are on console while PC players generally find him manageable. And that's a balancing problem. The devs have to balance around aim assist. Nerfing Twice for console players will make him bad for PC players. Similar problem with Endeavor, and we'll have to see what effect these new changes to endeavor will be. Will endeavor see even less play on PC? Or did the devs cook up a change that doesn't affect his viability on PC significantly but does reign him in on console? and if it works, then perhaps there's hope for twice then. Cause it definitely seems the devs are afraid to touch aim assist again after the prior backlash.
