But the Ad has endurance and I have a strong feeling Tebogo can comfortably run and win any thing from 100 to 800 metres he has the perfect physique, excellent rotational speed and a high level of endurance that could propel him to the top in all 3 sprint and 800 mtrs events, well done to him. As insanely good as he is in the 200, if you can run a 44.29 in the beginning of the season while not even going 100% and also not even training for a 400, it stands to reason that 400 is your best event. Considering his 30.69s 300m WR (which I really hope he will try to run again because he could break that and push to unreachable territories forever) and his 19.46s new African Record make him the future of sprinting. I think he has the potential to be overall greater than Niekerk, Kerley and Norman put together. I can see a WR both over 200m and 400m. And a 30.5X over 300m. Maybe 19.15, and 42.9

2 years and the 200/400 records will be broken, the 100 not so sure that 9.58 is insanely quick.
@AthleticsEditz
@AthleticsEditz 29 дней назад
@@newtonpeart8573 Yeah I don’t think Tebogo gets the 100. He certainly won’t get it whilst being a 200/400 sprinter. You have to be explosive and powerful in the 100 whereas in the 200/400 (400 especially) you don’t need to be a much so. Tebogo isn’t that powerful of a starter and he doesn’t have lots of muscle mass, so he’s better suited to the 200 and 400. If he put on muscle then he’d be a better 100 runner, despite already being world class lmao. I’d love for any of those 3 world records to go. Records are meant to be broken!
@wesleyowens4089
@wesleyowens4089 29 дней назад
@@AthleticsEditzsadly I don't think any of the runners today are breaking that 100m record. It's just too fast. Closest we'll see is probably Kishane Thompson and he could run a 9.6x but even that is not really close to 9.58

Yes I thought that Tebogo would close too. US made the right decision keeping him on anchor leg, I dont think any one else but him and most likely Hall could hold off Tebogo. But Hall has to be dead exhausted after the rounds so it makes sense.
@wesleyowens4089
@wesleyowens4089 29 дней назад
@@alansamuel2454Hall pulled his hamstring. He definitely could've held tebogo off as well we already saw he had zero quit in him in the 400m final. But if Hall and Benjamin both ran I don't think it would've been as close and the us could've broke the world record. Just replace the first leg with Hall and you could realistically take a whole second off that relay
@alansamuel2454
@alansamuel2454 29 дней назад
@@wesleyowens4089 Yes I just read about the injury little later. And I just meant that both of them would have guaranteed a win if on the anchor leg, I guess the phrasing as "hold off" I used was wrong. I don't think Deadmond or Norwood or Bailey could have held him off though if they ran anchor against him.

Tebogo has the talent to break the mens 400m WR if he focus on that event . I would prefer him to rather focus on 100m and 200m ( the event which he will dominate in the next 2 - 5 years. Thereafter at the age of about 26 - 30 he can focus on the 200m and 400m like Micheal Johnson did. We need to enjoy watching him running the 100m and 200m for the next few years Thereafter we can enjoy watching him running the 400m . He have the potential to break both the 200m and 400m world records.
