My overview of a bike shed I built a few weeks back. Was it worth the cost of materials? 100%. Overall cost of materials: Anywhere from $170 to $250 depending on what you need. I purchased saw blades, locks, screws, paint, and extras, making the ultimate cost closer to $300. Still very cheap considering.

Love it! Dress up the outside some with a planter box maybe a small chair and table. I would also put a power strip inside the unit with a space heater depending on the state. I’m one to tinker around with stuff in the winter. Wouldn’t cost much to heat that little area.

It would not recommend running a space heater from an extension cord.

Looking to build something similar to this. Hoping lumber will come back down. Bags of 80lb concrete use to be roughly $3.84, now close to $6.00 here.

Nice build unfortunately the shed will eventually leak the shingles should be stepped not seem on seem and there shouldn't be any visible nails if the seem doesn't leak the exposed nails eventually will. Quick tip when building anything everything in construction is staggered or stepped never seem on seem.

Can you translate the seem on seem?im trying to build just like this but i wont use screws for roof more like nails i guess or stapples

@@el_italo_rd9955 the tabs should be staggered, like bricks. This keeps the water from running into the nail holes. Use simple roofing nails, not screws

Looking to build a similar setup. Thinking that having it sit sideways so that both ends can open should make it easier to roll in and roll out.

Ya I am doing this. There are shingles lying around in the back. I have screw gun. But shit my truck is broken how will I get the plywood home nooooooo!!!!!
