Very poor service. They didn’t even have Dosai and served idiappam cold . Moreover gave channa as kuruma . Ran out of chutney & sambhar for rava Dosai but didn’t even bother informing before ordering. Not even an apology. Please avoid at all cost
Appriciate your efforts sir...super. one small feedback, while handling spoon pls use left hand. Dont use right hand (for chatini & sambar vadai) while eating. Its not appealing . Rest everything perfect.
Very good video on Madapalli Pure Veg restaurant at Srirangam. Your initial comment about the veg tiffins lacking variety was uncharitable. In Non-Veg items also it’s the same every time. Therefore your comment about “same items” in veg tiffin was unacceptable. The description of each item was commendable. Your expressions were so realistic that I could get here in USA the smell of the sambar and chutneys and Pongal. It is surprising that this restaurant gives food 365 days in a year. No onion no garlic may be appealing for very orthodox people. But the fact remains that addition of onion and garlic enhance the culinary appeal of the items. Very good video. Congratulations.

What about the rates for the tiffin? Is it reasonable?In Kumbakonam, some of the hotels still pour sambhar and chutney directly on your leaf, not giving in limited quantity cups!

You could have also explained what is Madappalli . It is the kitchen of a temple . You were telling that South Indian tiffin is limited varieties only . How many dosas there ? You know better . Now Uday also has got varieties . Upma /rava/ rice Pongal rice , rava, kufhirivali Samai . You can go on and on . So many chutneys. Sambar Gothsu kuruma Sahu . Potato bhaji .
