Super cute! Love you! Such great projects! Keep an eye out for metal, extendable, long, four-row shoe racks on the curb on trash day. People toss them out all the time or at apartment garbage cans. The poles used to make the shoe rack are perfect and exactly like the stems of these flowers. You will be able to get 16 poles from one shoe rack after you take it apart.
This is gorgeous!! I make bird baths with glsss but I’m going to try this!! ❤ I was wondering where you got the screw? Did it come with the glass knob? Thank you for your tutorial ❤❤
I used longer screws with most of mine! It depends on how many layers of glass and how thick your glass pieces are! I get my screws from the hardware store! be sure to take you knobs with you to get the correct size! Thanks for watching!!
The reason your plate broke like that is because it is tempered glass. Corelli, Pyrex, Arcoroc and some of the ones that are made in Malaysia are tempered and will either break into pieces like the one you had or shatter into chunks/pieces like this gorgeous deep red plate I tried to turn into a windchime!
You never know which ones will do it! I have drilled hundreds and I have only come across a few that break!! Thanks for sharing that info!! Thanks for watching!
I just joined your channel. Love glass yard art. Is there any way you can try a peppermint candy in glass? I’m going to try with plastic before trying with glass. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated 😁
I love glass art too! I have not tried to make peppermint candy. I don't like to paint my glass, but if you found some red and white glass that would be a great idea. Thanks for watching!
HI! The blade for ceramic dishes came from Harbor Freight and they are a ceramic, paddle looking bit. The bit I used for the glass came from Home Depot or Lowes and it is called a diamond cutting bit made by Milwaukee tools. I like that brand, it is red and looks like a tube. I show pictures of them in the video! Thanks for watching!
