If I'm not mistaken, one of his traces let him fully Regen his burst after his revival. Imagine killing Gepard only to let him set a shield right after. Reverse uno.
bailu underrated. another fun team is welt + bronya the infinite turns team. you could even throw in asta if you really wanted to for even more damage buff and speed. Sushang cause why not she gives herself turns aswell.

Gepard was my first 5 star and he literally carried me through the entire game even though i had no healers and he even solo'd Svarog when everyone else died 💀
@@rafal9ck817 You're already set for the entire game tbh, yanqing (ice sword guy), geppard/fire mc, asta, and natasha can pretty much carry you until the current end boss fight.

I was pretty sad about him being a shield when I got him but oh boy was I wrong. If he wasn’t in my team, my team wouldn’t have won any battle. He HARD CARRIED everyone

Funny how most of (if not all) pre-release tier list rated him at B or A tier, but then pull the " I would like to apologize" and put him on tier S after realizing how important tanker/shielder is in the game.
Am I the outlier for thinking that he was already an S tier? Idk why but in my experience in turn-based games, shield/def peeps are actually hella important, so I actually wanted to pull him from standard or from the newbie 5star banner (I got welt but I’m hoping my next 5 star character from standard will be him!)
Well if i have gepard now i would use it together with fire mc and also bailu and just one dps (currently danheng but when new dan heng comes i will replace dan heng with dan heng later).
@@huangjen1123 I'm in the same boat as you except I did get geppard in 20 pulls on the beginner banner. Him and yanqing are the big 2 I want. Once I have yanqing I want Welt, clara and bronya are next
Best we can get is Wind set which allows you to move faster after ultimate (allowing him to take more turns and therefore refill his energy more often) But even then idk if it's even better than standard shielder set

I need him to complete the Triforce, Clara, Gepard, and Tingyun. With these three no one will die and everything will get destroyed by Svarog's counters.
@@jasonheart866 I have this exact problem lol. I use Clara a lot but when I pair her with Gepard, he takes all the hits from her. My Tingyun is not built yet though
i cant tell u how many times my gepard has solo clutched, even tho he does so little damage he just never fucking dies and beats the enemies from pure endurance and will to live
Equipped Gepard with the “We are Wildfire” lightcone, man beat the World 2 boss basically solo because by the time the bird-things broke his shield he’d just reapply his ult, and they’d heal him every time they died from the LC’s burn damage.
Imagine i got gepard + welt + bailu in my final CBT lol, my gepard even E1. And now i only got clara and bronya. I know everyone will say clara and bronya is broken but for me gepard and bailu is immortal
Fun fact: Gepard and Serval are actually siblings. The last part of this video (Him humming) is actually something Serval hums aswell (I think) so I thought that was a cool detail PS. Sorry if they arent just heard this from my friend
Nah they are it's confirmed in Belobog story right before you leave underground. Gepard fails where his naturally musically tuned sister succeeds, but he tries anyway. Good brother
They also have another sister Lynx according to their companion quest line together, so maybe we’ll get more bad singing. Also just realized when typing out Lynx that they’re all cat names.
Gepard as a boss in world 3 is kinda lit ngl Also he forces you to bring some survivability because his shield phase is brutal with all the AoE and very hard hitting spearmen
I spent a whole day going through that world...Remembrance path is terrifying. Until you accidentally forget one of region encounters was a ice enemy and completely countered my strat..🙃
Before the game came out I watched the character trailers and had already decided he was the prettiest boy. Launch arrives and I got him on literally my first pull on limited banner (which means I technically lost the 50/50, but considering how low the chances are of getting the exact standard banner character you want in a single pull with no pity, I think I’m even luckier.) Been carrying my teams ever since. Path of Preservation supremacy
he really saved me during beta and made progress so much faster but now that i don‘t have him in the actual game i really had a hard time at the beginning until i got seele so i can really see the difference lmao
I was a bit sad getting him on beginner banner since I wanted welt or bronya but I’m pretty happy now! He was awesome in the story and his shield is crazy
Well, what can I say? both Bronya and Seele doesn't seem like the type to confess in HSR, unlike their HI 3rd counterparts. I won't be surprised if one day, Silver Wolf swooped in and stole Seele.
If you have Gerard and Natasha (or Bailu) you can literally kill anything as long as you have enough time lol. I managed to beat the last 2 phases of Gerard (world 3) with only those two. Luckily I had the hunter thing so it didn’t take forever, but in theory? Yeah
As a Gepard main for the only soul purpose is to shield, I feel lucky getting him in the standard warp and I agree with you Edit: wait no I got Him IN the BEGINNERS warp I feel lucky
It was a great decision to have shield strength scale on defense. Like guys imagine shield strength scaling on Elemental mastery, that would be hilarious
Gepard's shield helped me complete Simulated Universe 3's Gepard Boss fight so much. With the upgrades from the cards his shield legit tanked the entire planet. Pair it with my Bailu and the whole just doesnt die.
If you have to evaluate it correctly, Gepard is the most solid wall in the game, no matter how low your team's hp is, as long as you have Gepard, all problems will be solved.
Yeah i do to until suddenly he hit my team with his AOE and the reflect damage from preservation blessing thing was enough to shatter his shield completely.
Gerard the goat, when i pull him from the beginner banner i was in joy because I needed some character that can withstand those bosses that can lock on three target and those bosses that are the shit out of my team and March can only shield one member at a time so gepard is a must especially when you're building a sustainable team to survive waves and more
First Bailu on Beginner banner, then Welt on the standard within first 20 pulls. And Gepard after 20-ish pulls. I think Star Rail is trying to get me to build an immortal team or smth
I remember fighting for Echo of War with borrowing Gepard from my friendlist, with MC Physical, Asta and Dan Heng I got the achievement where you start with 4 people and finish with 1 person because Gepard clutched the ending 😂😭
Am I the only one who stopped using Gepard right after getting Fire MC? HAHAHA I still use him if I need to fight an enemy that requires huge shields, but he's no longer part of my usual team. Another reason is because march 7th's freeze is AoE, plus she have a pseudo taunt (well it's complicated to explain since it involves a game mechanic centered around the path types and the likelihood of them getting attacked)
Fire mc shield is ass compared with gepard, if enemy does aoe you doomed, Needs a healer with him, the pros are that the taunt doesnt rely on rng like gepard, and that can do aoe, but gepards freeze is rly good
For now, yes he's kinda replaceable with fire mc, but maybe as the time progress with ofc much hard hitting enemies and maybe multi hit enemies, he's might be better later. For AoE, i dunno man, but for now AoE char is kinda lackluster since it's kinda rare to see enemies have the same weakness in one battle, usually it just two or maybe three and it has different weakness with the boss itself. Also, since his shield is on his ultimate, while it might look hard to loop it around in the current state of game where you shouldn't farm any relic yet, he can cast it anytime you want and no need to take your turn. He also has pseudo taunt btw in his... What is it? Skill tree? Lmao i forget what its name.
this is so true! I also use the artefact set that looks like it’s for him aesthetically, so whenever he is under or equal to 50% of his hp he restores some hp whenever his turn starts 😂 I think I once had him stand alone in battle for over 20 min & right when his hp gets low he gets his ult shield back & heals a bit & since he takes no more dmg thanks to the shield he heals up to 50% & then the circle starts again 😂 I got like so many achievements thanks to his survivabilty when he says „it’ll heal“ or „a will forced in ice never falters“ he means it 🤍 tbh i was set on getting yanqing but I not even once regretted getting him 🥺🤍 (he even came home again with his e1) I am proud of him 🙌🏻✨
Gepard really is one of the best 5 star you can get like he will save your team a lot cause of his ultimate he is my first 5 star and I got his Signature Light cone which is broken for tanks
