Nice looking Alfafa...... Our neighbor started cutting his Bermuda with his Kuhn disk mower ? V tine conditioner, but had to swap to his Kuhn disk mower,,,,,, because one of his turtles broke in half......, What we noticed was that the window the conditioner thru up even after one day still had green spots, but where he cut with the disk mower,,, laid flat dried better..... We baled Today hay that was cut Friday....Temp was 90,,,,, Humidity was 93%......
Wednesday evening, hope you got that alfalfa baled up cause supposed to have bad storms tonight. Weather looks pretty good for next week. Got plans made for cutting more hay or making a new video?
Hey Jeff just got in got everything bailed it was kind of actually slow to dry started bailing about 3 o’clock yeah and I did some video. Thanks for checking in and yeah thanks for the warning I heard we’re going to get a lot of rain. Yeah are you planning on cutting a bunch next week?
Same as here last week. Cut late Monday and could have been baled late Tuesday. Nothing needed but gently rake and bale tomorrow, looks great. Can't believe how long morning dew can be on grass lately. Maybe cut more on Thur. in the rain?
Looks like that is going to be really nice hay! We're struggling here with never more than two days of nice weather. Missed another opportunity to make hay....should have cut yesterday morning, as today is beautifully sunny...BUT raining tonight again! This is how it's been all year; two days MAX of good weather. Get to cut at around 10am to 11am; then use a tedder at around 4pm, then the next day around 12pm to 1pm rake into windrows, then at 4pm to 5pm bale it. Problem with that is I can only ever do a few hundred bales at a time.
