💕💐 I'm thinking this is literally the recipe of how the companies "make them" they don't use the powder I'm assuming in the "mass production" of the Generic Bottle's. These are the real thing not comparable with the "powder taste" 💕🎆👍
Maybe this only works if you are an avid Gatorade drinker, for one time use it costs more money and plastic but if you drink Gatorade everyday you would use less plastic over a certain amount of time, although I am unaware of how much plastic is a Gatorade bottle and these pods aswell as I do not know the price of these items

Yes yes, however 🤣 it would probably be a lot better for plastic consumption, Gatorade is one of the worst plastic bottles in terms of amount so this would be great as long as it's sold like that qnd not in extra plastic
@@diebrutally It’s still a single-use plastic pod though. It’s smaller but the regular bottles are going to be way easier to reuse than the round pods. You’d save a lot more plastic by selling the concentrate in bulk and not making people buy a special plastic bottle to open your pods, but considering that this costs slightly more than buying regular bottles of Gatorade I doubt they’re interested in what would be way greener and also way cheaper for the consumer.
Oh boy, don’t remind me. The damage we are doing to this planet is so painful to be reminded of. I just hate to look outside, enjoy my backyard, and remember the seas filled with garbage and the beautiful habitats and landmarks riddled with plastic and waste. We are too far gone now. Way I see it, I’m just one man and my lazy ass will make no difference. But it still makes me sad that this planet is such a rare beauty that we really dont deserve. The worst part of it all is that we KNOW we are destroying it. We know, and yet we continue because all we care about is ourselves. But the more we do it, we’re slowly killing everyone’s home, planet earth. God save us.
If the big bottle is reusable, and the smaller pod is taking the place of a larger bottle... wouldn't this be reducing waste, not to mention reducing carbon being spent transporting the less concentrated bigger bottles of gatorade? Ofc this is largely moot when you're using bottled water to fill it up...

@@richard8975 the man in the video used two plastic water bottles to fill the cup, there are more condensed liquids that take up less space. They sell little bottles of those everywhere. Not to mention the cheaper option of powdered Gatorade.
@@simp6303 it does not, when you factor in having to buy instant water for your instant Gatorade 🤡 plus they're more expensive, 4 pods that make 30 oz each, for 8 bucks, 120 oz, but an 8 pack of 20oz bottles at Walmart is 6.50, 160 oz. And they mix them for you with water you don't have to pay for

if u get water from the refrigerator or tap, and use this bottle with the pods you’ll only be wasting plastic with the disposable pods. the bottle is reusable! it’s better than getting a new large gatorade bottle every time u want it. this guy just used bottled water to fill his, but i’m pretty sure that the brand made this to be more eco friendly using less plastic.
Its more expensive than that since he had to buy the bottle, the water, and the pods. Theres gatorade powder packets 10 for 2.50 you add to any water cup or bottle.

It would be nice for the space saved if you wanted to have aton of Gatorade without all the bottles but they already have powder so yeah it’s just a complete waste

It's actually cheaper long run. A single pod makes 32oz of gatorade, with 4 to a pack. You can snag then up for around 5 to 6 bucks. Thebwaterbottle is 24 bucks which is a bit shitty tbh but most decent water bottles are around 20 bucks anyways.
It's cheaper in the long run. Still dumb product imo though. I drink Gatorade almost every day and I'd still rather just pay the very little extra for bottles of real Gatorade.
Well it’s cheaper in the long run because the bottle is reusable so if you ever want Gatorade all you have to pay for is the pods. It also reduces plastic because again the bottle is reusable & what you’re throwing away is that small pod which is also reusable.

The big bottle is supposed to be reused, you would just buy more pods, or just fill it with water. If you get 1 of these bottles and 2-3 pods it’s already less waste than getting 2-3 gatorades. Edit: realized you meant the water bottles, yea, he fucked up there lmao. But if you fill at home/the gym you will waste less plastic.
I mean you don’t replace the bottle everytime you just have to replace the Half size think little shot container so yeah this one time it’s less waist but technically less plastic from there on out. But it’s like they make a powder how lazy can you be to not just mix it
@@fruit_smoovie I'm saying this because Gatorade now has competition (Body Armor) so they have to be more innovative with their ideas rather than just mixing more flavors in their drink to get ahead; since Coca-cola bought out Body Armor and eventually people are going to need more stimulation (why Gatorade is resorting to mixing your own and needing to purchase special equipment to drink their product). I'm sure soon some never before brand will come out with something never heard of before and out trump Gatorade and Body Armor if Body Armor ends up flopping, the new brand will learn from the others mistakes. But BA is following the 'all natural' trend that's popular at the moment using coconut water and the supposed all natural sweeteners.

Yeah the special bottle does defeat the purpose when Gatorade already makes a powdered version in packets already that can be put in any bottle . It’s a gimmick and unfortunately gimmicks sell. Even if it’s temporary Gatorade is making money off this
It's for "convenience". Essentially instead of buying more and more bottles, you now have one bottle and can continue to refill it. Saves more plastic but produces far more work than needed to. You are also now able to choose your favorite water bottle brand or tap water so i guess that's cool.

This Gatorade is for NBA, NFL, College - Olympics/ Athelete Gatorade Sponsors probably get 100 Gatorade Pods a week, Gatorade pods aren't for the average Joe, the average Joe living from paycheck to paycheck wouldn't buy these - maybe a one time buy, but average Joe's definitely buy the Gatorade powder that looks like protein powder container and it makes around like 15 gallon servings of Gatorade or the Gatorade packets 2.75 for 10 packets that you add to water bottles, unless you add sugar or something it's not going to taste exactly like the real deal but its close enough and at least you get to replenish lost electrolytes the same as real Gatorade

This has nothing to do however with how much i despise single use plastics x4 for ONE regular cup of flavored water out of the tap or hose or fuck.
