No Jawing, Just sawing Hickory logs on the Frick

Doug's sawing up three logs today, two are hickory that I snagged from my neighbor Charlies farm. I'm trying something different on this video, just sawing, no jawing! Please leave a comment or suggestion. Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving.

I like the sawen no jawin idea. I like the view where you see the sawer, and the blade making boards. Thanks for the video.

Hey Wayne, what is the history of this Frick sawmill was it donated?

Hi Rudy, History... it's a long story, but bottom line it was donated by a local man who was active in antique tractors. If you are ever in Maryland please stop by and I will elaborate. The mill is now owned by the non profit associated with the park. Thanks for asking.

I'm pretty sure it is a lot newer than that. The ones built in the 20's and 30's did not have metal husks. Sadly, the info on these is not on the web, and it would take tons of time for the guy who has the records to help us... so I think it might be the 50's or even 60's. But, not sure....@@rudycarlson8245
