It looks like a punt, well it is a punt don’t get me wrong, but you have to give action to get it. And Middle pair in a 5 handed game is a lot stronger than middle pair in a 10 handed game. He just happen to run into the top of the guys range.
And definitely no windows to let the sun light in. It would be in a dark back room. Got to love how much the poker world has evolved in to being something a person is proud to say they do
More money than brains, when he called $135,000 with a pair of Kings 52:00 minutes into the game. There is no shame in being bluffed in a hand of No Limit. Wait for a better time so you can get your money back, because the way they play, it will happen. Just My Opinion.
Life is like Texas Hold'em, and Texas Hold'em is life. I have been studying for 6 years. I think I have the right to speak. This game requires discipline, a clear brain, and enough rationality. This is just like our lives.
Fuck what a call. He called 300k on the river with a pair of 8s. And took his time he didn’t just snap it off. He sat there put his opponent on ACE BIG and trusted his read. That’s what we call a Seoul Read!!
Kinda funny if the floor didnt randomly give 100k to Putra to buy he might not lose his whole stack at the end. stack size would be really awkward to jam river even if he adjusts his turn sizing
Really insane call by Tan Xuan, but I guess Putra won't be playing Aces, Queens or Jacks this way. When Tan called preflop and called Putra's flop bet into 2 players, Tan's range contains a lot of Kings, so I don't think a bet bet shove line make a lot of sense for Putra unless he has AK or KQ.
Yeah you are right. The more you think about the Hand the less crazier the call gets. As you Said AA to TT wouldn‘t take his line. Only AK or KQ makes sense. And even with those hands he might trap on the turn. He has way more bluffs then value hands. Obviously still a hard call to make, but it makes sense.
because he has a loose image, so he has to call light to justify, otherwise other players will just keep bluffing him knowing his cards always bs. He thinks the other players know about this and try to bully him and he counters that by calling light
What a bad play of Tony G with the 88. What was he thinking after that re-raise? He should know that he should calm down and that he is way behind. Mega tilt he was I guess.
