The minimum raise is not simply twice the size of the previous bet, it's actually the difference between the raise and the bet the raiser was facing. Essentially, you have to raise by at least the same amount as the person before you raised. In your example, the players facing the 300 bet would be able to raise 500, not 600 as you stated. This is a common misconception in NLHE.
What you describe is correct and I should have made a note in the video. However, I didn´t and I choose to go with a beginner friendly rule I (and many others) use in my trainings to simplify things and enhance the playing experience. Good observation and comment. Thanks for sharing!
Whatever position you have at the table (e.g. small blind) - the moment it's your turn, and you have less than another player who is already all in, you only play for your "share". If BB went all in for 1000, and you only have 200 then you'll play for a pot off 2*200 = 400. Helps?
Hallo Tino, ich habe eine Frage und hoffe du kannst mir weiterhelfen. Es ist kürzlich bei einem Pokerabend (alle anwesenden waren amateure, also keiner der anwesend hat zuvor schon oft Poker gespielt) dazu gekommen, dass 2 Leute ein Flush spielten. Ich war der Meinung, dass es nun einen split pot gab, die anderen sagten jedoch, dass derjenige mit dem höheren Flush den Pot gewinnt. Da ich das bei einem Flush noch nie gehört habe, wollte ich nur mal nachfragen, ob wir richtig gehandelt haben oder ob es einen Split pot gegeben hätte. Ich hoffe du kannst mir helfen. LG Maurice
Hallo, wenn zwei Spieler einen Flush haben, gewinnt der höhere. Einen Splitpot beim Flush gibt es Nur, wenn der Flush quasi auf dem Board (5 Gemeinschaftskarten) liegt, also alle Spieler einen Flush haben. Herzliche Grüße Tino
