@@prezentoappr1171frack, op here it's close I'm not sure either ume-or umaibou some kind of confectionery, got strict sense the reverse of strict sense of kintama
This challenge is actually insane because English Loan Words are so ingrained in everyday Japanese. Nobody even noticed the キャラクター、 セーフ and OKです at 3:00. Or ミュート and スーパーチャット at 3:40 Very funny thanks for the translation!
0:40 Lmao I like how she just straights up calls them the weirdest members of VSPO. 1:43 Sounds wrong 2:45 Ah.. 4:14 Ahaha there it is! Oh wow and it came from Ema. 6:35 This is great 7:23 Hooo, I wonder how she's gonna answer this.. 7:33 Great answer
I was a bit cofused when they didn't think of 手榴弾 for grenade or 狙撃銃 for sniper rifle... I'm not even that good at Japanese and those came to me immediately. Maybe they use them in the full stream. I don't know the word for assault rifle though, lol. I think they were also talking about a beam rifle or a beam sniper rifle, for which the best I could do is 光線銃 or 光線狙撃銃 (light-ray-gun, light-ray-sharpshooter-gun), which I don't think are real words.
I see, without loan words the Japanese language becomes full of innuendos. I'm sure this has nothing to do with the people streaming having dirty minds, nope.
There's a famous homophones demonstration in Wikipedia as a related page from English buffalo 8 times same with police neko no ko koneko, Shishi no ko kojishi iirc
In this stream they said a bunch of English words without noticing www. Even you in this video missed them saying "mute" and "OK" multiple times. I think it's weird because in my language this isn't a challenge at all but it is what it is.
Long rod lol. Ofc Beni going to make it into dirty joke xD No dirty jokes in Vspo? _Press X to doubt_ Reminds me of that one seiyuu radio show where they had to pay everytime they use loan words. Too funny, especially how they're able to turn it into dirty jokes xD
