Hello Nikki, I am alright, a little bit of difficulty at school, but I will manage. Things are a little funny at the moment, I am almost finished at school and can't wait for it to be over, but I still have 2 semesters left, which is another year, and today that feels like a Really long time. At least I get to spend a lot of time at home with the baby, that is wonderful. Although he is already quite a handful, strong and energetic. Hope you are doing well! Let me know how you feel about No Longer Human. It's intriguing, but left a bad taste in my mouth.
Just finished the prequel, that was actually written first, The Flowers of Buffoonery. Would love your thoughts... it shows a similar Dazai but less dark as when he wrote No Longer Human. Sad really how things went downhill
I think it might take me some time to get the courage to revisit Dazai. Maybe next year. Besides, there are already so many great Japanese authors, I don't want to get bogged down with the one who depresses me the most.
@@grantlovesbooks I remember when people could use their mobile phones or smart phones all day - glued to the screen. Now, if they try it for longer time than 10 minutes the aches and the pain will turn them away from that. That seems to be the only way which could be used to stop the smart phone zombie plague.

It is quite good, although I wished I had of discovered it when I was younger. I think there are some books that if you don't get them when you are at the right age you might never get them at all. Music teacher in Manhattan! You must have had quite a noteworthy life. I grew up in Ottawa, which is a sleepy town, and had to move to Eastern Europe to learn about culture and live in a place where there was some real life happening.It feels like I am walking around constantly sedated now that I am back in Canada.

@@jennyhirschowitz1999 I most certainly will. I've already collected some children's classics that I am waiting for him to be old enough to enjoy. Currently he likes books, but mostly because they are a fun shape to play with.
Hello Deb, I feel like I'm nearly blinded with all the reading I did this weekend. Although most of it was for school. It always feels like such a race between reading the books and making the videos and editing the videos. I think the next book is going to be a fun one, but it might take a while to get to the video of that one.
