am using loq 12450h rtx 3050 varient from last 6months in this time I only face a USB port issue where one of my USB port has stopped working but when I shake the wire of mouse keyboard connected to the port it works.
Intel 13th and 14th gen processors have this problem. Not only in laptops but in desktops too. Heard it is because Intel overclocked those processor or something which heats it badly. There are lots of videos on youtube regarding 13th and 14th gen processors dying or failing. Undervolting is the only solution it seems.

So even my laptop died it was i7 14700hx 4060... It died on may 9th... I was playing God of war custom everything at max and it was not a long session tbh... The lap turned off and then gg it was gone... Now i got refund and i am building a pc.

Tbh before this came out, I'm really happy that I finally found a gaming laptop that i could buy because Asus Tuf have issue with WiFi and screen (This is the first laptop i want before i found Loq), but seeing this post on reddit, fb groups, and even here makes me hesitant about buying a gaming laptop. @sciathain answered for me. No issues in Legions. PTM comes pre applied in most Legions, can't say for sure in the Pro 5i but I think it should as it is their top performing laptop.

I messaged you on Instagram, the laptop is working but the cpu has thermal issues, probably what happened is after replacing motherboards, someone either forgot or did not apply the thermal paste properly. Currently the GPU is working perfectly fine but the CPU basically throttles immediately after any stress is applied and hits 99°C. I will put out another request soon and will update.
For anyone wanting to know the details, The Cinebench R23 results should be around 16.6k and i am barely able to get 9k to 10k, what's happening is that it starts off normal but it reaches 99°C really fast and after that it throttles hard and hits very low clock speeds.

@@SuryanshSukhija undervolting will increase your performance ( reduce throttling won't affect clock speeds ) system will crash and then you will have to force restart by holding power button My offset is -135 mv system doesn't crash at 140mv too if do cinebench But but if I play pubg It randomly crash ( 140 mv ) 135 is super stable for me temps below 85 cinebench score 16.5k ( 13450hx) Undervolting won't damage your cpu overclock ing can damage

Ryzen 7840 hs, rtx 4070 140 w tgp, 280 w adapter, 16.1 inch screen, 4 zone rgb, ms office, 1 yr plus 2 yr onsite warranty, 3 yr adp, 3 yr anti virus. 1.27 lakhs and 12 months no cost emi. tested battery back up watching you tube videos at 50 percent brightness. 4 hrs usage battery remaining 40%.

its not just 13/14 gen , i have a 12 gen which i bought in april 2024 and i had issues since day one , i have been going through a lot of posts and i have found i think around a thousand people at this point across youtube and reddit about people having issues about the loq including for all the gens of the laptop . the highest were in the 4060 14700 but as i said the problem is in all LOQ's , it is THE shittiest laptop lenovo has made .
Also Guys note that : Intel 13/14th gen mostly 14th gen is highly unstable & a majority of them started crashing after 6months of use in desktops. Now all ppl are returning it, so beware it can be a Intel issue.
