@@fahadking5553 Sticking on one project doesn't mean depriving employees from benefits and leaves. Still plenty of ppl are purchasing this game in steam.
Yes full potential that can reach level of full immersion VR game that only exist in anime and novels as long as it's updating that it can really become reality like and beyond
They are doing it because almost all of that tech will be used in Light No Fire. If they put it into NMS that game keeps selling, too, and they get funding for the next one. =P
the crazy thing about it, is Hello games, may look at updating the questlines or they may port the tech they are using for light no fire and if they do, holy crap this game is the gift that keeps on giving!
I honestly think we should donate to Hello Games to show them our appreciation. I mean, the updates are free, no paid dlc's n stuff. They deserve our support
@@PurplinesskyYeah thats actually a very good way to show support. I respect them for keeping No Man’s Sky alive, So I’ll definitely buy Light No Fire.
What I love about no man's is im not pressured into doing pvp if i just want to play on one planet for my entire playthrough and treat it like the sims i can.
L&F Distributors is owned by InBev, the largest beverage company in the world. You might be familiar with the Unilever family of products, like Tazo tea. Mine's full strength Awake English Breakfast tea. GTA5 made so much money there's really no incentive to make GTA6 when all the major AAA studios (to quote R*) have no competition
@@peacefindersimply5001It's like an ocean bigger than the universe we live in still shallower than the shallowest water body Meaning there isn't much to do besides building based warping from different galaxies again doing the same
@ghostwolf5347 I mean I wouldn't mind a sequel! Why not, they can ensure the immersion and deliver ALL they promise way back before the game was released officially. Because something tells I don't think they can at least for this build of NMS. For those who don't know, the ORIGINAL build of this game was AMBITIOUS and perhaps a little too much, at least for the current consoles apparently.
@@tufflucal4037 yeah it kinda did get boring quick I'd be more in if they let us custom build our ships or have a better market for them even just paint them.
Love how its developing. Especially them taking things they learned from light no fire and bring it to an older game. For me its dev of the centuri. So hyped for light no fire. Would love to see the same look and vibe but on one planet and phantasy style.
That's the point of an update. It's to enhance the game as you play it. Most games desire a fee when there's an update, but NMS developers are seemingly generous, and I can't appreciate them more. This game seems to be endless, and thanks to frequent updates, I simply can't get enough of it. For example... imagine gta generated it's own landscape as you play. You will never get bored of it.
A sizeable update every couple months is absolutely insane and more than we could ever ask from a game, love Hello Games and as long as they keep it up no mans sky remains the best exploration game
I think they actually develop their new game light no fire and implement some of the features to no mans sky as updates also to see if they, work well :)
nothing offical but there has been lots of leaks through data mining (SPOILER WARNING) Leaked new ocean biomes, a leaked new dessert biome, a leaked human shaped crashed freighter style statue, leaked more ruins, leaked purple star systems (The purple star system leak isn’t even datamined, they added a purple star material to the Catalogue by accident and forgot to delete it)
@@peacefindersimply5001yep, within the next couple of months we'll be getting part 2. I wonder if Sean will blow out minds and casually mention a part 3 in the next 'Deep Dive'.
been playing nms since it first dropped & since, nms only gotten better & better... never stop adding new features to this insanely awesome game, i luv exploring everything nms has to offer & look forward to their next update...
I’m so excited to get back into this game after like almost a year. This update is absolutely going to pull me back In for a good while, and I’m hoping to get all my friends on too
There’s a lot of core issues that still need to be addressed like the messy and confusing UI and all the procedural generated locations that look the same. Game still needs living breathing cities on planets that make the world feel more alive. There’s a lot of potential if they keep adding stuff like this and I’m glad they’re still at it. They built a shallow ocean, they just gotta continue to make it deeper. A good idea might be adding more unique set locations like in starfield (though i dislike this game) that aren’t procedurally generated in other galaxies or planets.
So glad to see the game getting big. I've been playing for almost 8 years now, and yes they can still make the game better. And i hope they keep adding more thats why i keep coming back( for more).
I hope they treat this game as an ongoing game. Even when Light No Fire comes out, people would still want their sci fi fix. Having this two games at once sharing the same set of tech advancements would be awesome.
This is what gaming should be. Keep making those game updates 10 years and still going they should do that to all games make it better to keep the player
We need to be able to get out if our ship in space, have consistent putside/inside room detail for freighters, the ability to float and fall down to planets, and more basic stuff.
They've updated NMS to the point they're now back porting new code they're using for LNF, wish more companies would do the same for their previous when developing sequels.
This is the game that ripped me from the land of Eorzea, like a tornado, and dropped me in an even more amazing place. It doesn't need storytelling, or other players, to make it the most memorable experience I've had.
I tought the first release was amazing and already giving us something new....sure the general quality and content scope is smaller, but that is why they can do much more with less people... truly amazing how many more free updates and upgrades they've given us
These new updates are getting new players to see the game. It’s working. It’s healing their reputation and making them money. In fact it’s making them known as the studio that doesn’t walk away from its games in a time period where so many other studios walk away from failed games. It would be a terrible idea to stop.
Thats nice, unfortunately I lost my ship a few days back. Bought ships at a station to scrap for nanites, when 1 ship sold looked like my salvaged ship. My ship then transformed into a shuttle. Spent hours relocating the planet and a dozen spikes to find an A class again. When I did, my salvaged shuttle disappeared, when I reloaded, my new salvaged ship disappeared from inventory and floor. Bye bye all my maps, expansion slots, and ship upgrades.
Keep going, my friends put all those other game developers To shame. Show them how to treat customers. And I know they're doing this because it's a job that they love to do and they love to see people actually happy.
My only complaint is that you can't land on the floating islands well at least most of them and that they have destroyed my settlement twice with the last 2 updates. With that, I've lost settlement progression and builds that are gone but still counts in my build limit. Just gonna take a breather and get back on in a month.
Be me, 2014 hear about NMS and totally "take my money". 2016 get NMS and am mildly bummed but still spend days playing. Spend next decade getting more and more and more from Hello Games. Then worlds comes out and mind implodes. Thanks Shawn your game is legendary
I want them to make it so I can go faster like eventually you just reach a limit which is annoying also I think they should add variable sized atmospheres or some planets with no atmosphere. So that every entry to a planet doesnt look exactly the same
It’s not Hell Divers style action it’s Starship Troopers action. They literally said Starship Troopers was the inspiration behind the bugs and new expedition
I wonder if Hello Games is slowly turning NMS into an MMO? It could be they are slowly, sneakily turning this into a new game they'll make $ on down the road? Maybe this free content is also an iterative, micro-feature progression BETA program? Testing each tiny improvement as they turn it into a AAA MMO?
I'll be looking for a paradise world with floating islands. If i can find an island with a waterfall, hell yeah. If someone wants to give a location of one of those worlds, yes please.
the concept of something getting updated and made better over time to me just seems like "pay full price now for a fraction of the game and in 10 years time you'll get your money's worth" i wish 1 of two things actually happen. 1. games are released finish with no patch needed and only dlc being added, like the good ol days 2. the gaming industry dies, overnight, displacing thousands of jobs and people and causing a whole lot of damage to the market.
