The guilds actually aren’t new, they just haven’t had much in the way of interaction until now. They were originally added in Atlas Rises back in 2017.
It feels like the Pirate stations not getting the update is a nice touch. They are no longer part of the Station network, (in lore) and therefore they look even more primitive and run-down. Plus it keeps the older versions of Space Stations in the game.
I disagree ... Pirate stations are to empty, Why are X upgrades from pirate stations better then S class upgrades ? Pirates should have the all the best items because it stolen good on the black market.
Xbox still doesn't have the update, and I heard that Microsoft delayed it because they felt it wasn't up to their standards of quality. What does that mean? My guess is the odd names for ship cores, and other bugs.

I'm trying to purchase the core but it says I have a 100% discount and I need -2 nanites. Having well over that I'm denied being about to purchase anything. Anyone else having this problem?
I really hope that hello games will rework the starship fighting gameplay. Just something like heat seeking missiles you have to dodge at the right time or just improved weapons, as in more intuitively accessible weapons. I think this menu you have to switch through really limits the possibilities. Battles could be more fast paced and exciting and it would bring a certain level of needed skill to the battles. I really liked the pirate dreadnoughts but i think ship to ship combat could still improve. But im not gonna complain, this update is looking extremely promising.

When I loaded up my game I was so confused on where I was because the area was so huge and it had me thinking I was inside the multi player area but some reason no one was showing up. Then I was like where did the portal go?? 😆 But yeah they look amazing especially outside design.
@@TimBaer-mt7lc He literally just said that only Haulers, Fighters, and Explorers can be custom built. You cannot build a custom Solar ship...at least, not at this time. They may add them in down the road.
Supercharged slots are nothing more than overkill. If they were removed from the game, it wouldn't really matter. You practically two shot anything without them. So, more damage for what? Numbers that don't matter in game play. The difference in 30,000 damage and 150,000 you'll never see. The target is dead anyway.
Totally agree if you're using it for damage but I never do! I only use it for my hyperdrive range as I like to cruise the star maps with big jumps and also my maneuverability hs it doesn't just make your ship easier to steer. It also makes your pulse drive go faster, which I use quite frequently when I ship hunt. I really enjoy being able to warp from the planet to the space station or other planets when planet hunting in less time than I ordinarily would with a low maneuverability quotient
Supercharged slots on ships were to offset the 50% reduction in technology upgrades. Same for Exosuit. They are a little overkill on the weapons. they were always just 3 upgrades. Even with supercharge slots my ship stats are not what they used to be.
The stations are cool but after visiting a few they, like the planets loose surprise factor...yes procedualy generated stuff is nice but at the end its just more of the same stuff thrown together in a different manner. The inside of the stations is the same everywhere exept from some minor lighting and decoration differences . Ship building is a cool touch but i did not see a reason to scrap one of my ships just to make place for another thats in no way shape or form better that the ones i have. Meh Its cool but i was done with the update after 30 minutes, there is no reason for me to play ...what this game needs is more races of aliens, citys on planets, more chance encounters, an bigger variety of things to find and discover and collect.

The upsetting part about this update for me is not only can you not customize ships you already own but you only have the 3 main base category ships to choose from which sucks for me cause i only have/use exotic and sentinel ships.
Well, lore wise, I think sentinel ships cannot be customized since they belong to the police of the game's universe. But it would be cool if we can customized existing ships without scrapping them. I hate orange colored sentinel ships, but I can't throw them out either because of all the upgrades I worked for and they are S class. 😒😒

Look its cool they added ship customization but how they did it SUCKS, waiting almost 10 years for this is not what we wanted... COLORS.... WHERE IS BLACK! they need to update the update and let us customize OUR CURRENT SHIPS AND OUR FLEET.... Let us buy the pieces from a vendor, let us salvage the parts and sell them, GIVE US MORE OPTIONS.
I kinda like the idea of abandoned and pirate stations remain like the old one for anyone new to the game can see how it used to be. If hello games does upgrade the pirate stations, at least the abandoned should be the same.
I have a feeling that Pirate space stations are going to have a Frankenstein Look to them with multiple different areas of different space stations or something like that
Yeah that would be totally cool. I could see that happening for sure, who knows though they may leave it or they may change it. Either way I'll be happy with whatever they do but for me it's black! I want black ships lol 😆
Can you imagine an all black guppy with those gold highlights 😎. I hope they add exotics for sure. I don't have the black color option either. Hopefully that gets fixed
I’m happy to have this update for sure but i gotta say im sad we never got the piloting feature that was built into space stations… the little platform showed it was supposed to be a feature they didnt get to finish and now that it appears to be scrapped im pretty sad well never get to see it come to fruition
UI Cores and stuff are broken. Everything is broken right off launch lol. Literally *everything*. UI Core is the file name for the starship reactor cores.
Yup, some ships are not dropping parts, or showing the preview so you have to click a part and random or from memory. Plus all the NPC's seem to get stuck in some procedural decorations and stack up, one station had 30 npc's walking into a single crate =p. Hopefully they also fix when you switch ships it doesn't leave the old ones on the other landing spots as well.
@@littlekong7685 There are currently only three ship types available for salvage and customization; fighter, hauler and explorer. Others may be added in future updates.
Two things, one I hope in the future we have the ability to customize ALL previous ships we own from Sentinel to Exotics (I just wanna paint my old ships). Two, hope that players who run creative get access to all the ship pieces instantly (grinding twice for a Survival & Creative save feel more repetitive than it needs to be).
Yea it was not fun to have to wait for the same ship to spawn twice just to get the cockpit then the wings, and I would most definitely have to agree with you about painting your collection of ships, I have a few that are awesome but I'd prefer in different colors, hopefully one day man, thanks for the comment 🙏👽🚀

Dang. The first thing I thought after hearing about this update was, "I can *finally* make the perfect Interceptor ship I've been wanting!" Nope. No Interceptors. And no black? So much for making my favorite blue + black ship combo. Oh well... maybe someday.
