I spent $60 to preorder that trailer. When the actual game came out and I got what you showed in the second part I got a refund. What they promised us was a $100 game selling for $60. What they gave us was a $5 game selling for $60.
('TL;DR' at the bottom.) You know, you have to truly wonder; What happened? What happened to all this? How did this; 0:00 - 0:29 Get turned into this?: 0:30 Seriously, HOW? Was the entire E3 trailer just one big animation? Was everything rigged into a certain way? Was Sean taught how to mimic certain actions and moves within the animation with an unplugged controller? There's no way you could possibly have had such an amazing looking game, just flip upside down like this, when it's clear the product was there! The game was clearly there, the true game. Yet somehow, they came out with... 0:30 Again, how did this happen? It had to have been an animation or something. Why decide to scrap a partially finished game, that looked good, re-do it, and then do the re-do so horribly? It had to have been a sham from the very start, from the very instant the game was in design for this to happen. The team must have been like "Hey, let's make a brilliant game, but instead, make a brilliant game, in a way that it sparks the most controversy above all!" It's such a disgrace, and the most biggest mystery in gaming that I've ever seen. Foundation and Pathfinder are the only best things to be inputted to date, (Why they weren't in the game from the beginning though is another biggie.) but it's not enough to make up for this poor excuse, that could've been the biggest thing ever for the space adventure genre. TL;DR It became shitty for no reason! WHY AND HOOOOOOW?!
It was not animation, however they made special planets, they were not random as proven by data mining XD. Everything you see moving was quick time events as seen from the code.
I didn’t pay attention to this game around release, does anyone know what the consensus was for this E3 demo? It looked way too scripted, just about every “feature” was shown, which I get you want to show off but I’m fairly certain Murray was flaunting how none of it was scripted … Right, you just happened to stumble upon a space battle 🙄
