I love that you passed a clear message but reversed the actions played by both gender. We are used to the man being the perpetuator which is not always so. No means no irrespective of the sex
Nothing was reversed here. I'd like to make a point that these things happen more often with the male gender as the victim than we would want to admit. The male gender is just not comfortable being victims of actions perpetuated by the female gender because we're programmed from birth to appear tough; never to be victims.

This was really good and filled with poignant messages, one of which is the role reversal that shows that some females are horrible predators but that a lot of the time even though we want our No's to be heard and respected. Many who may not be outrightly terrible people (females) don't realise we disrespect the no's that come from males also.

Men use this technique on women. Its a great message to have the woman use it on a man. The result the man felt violated. Think about how men and women feel when they are violated. No means No. Avoid persons who don't respect your boundaries. Do not even deal with them. Thanks for the video it makes a powerful tool to teach others.

What got me is the use of opposite sex in place where the male gender has always been........ And above all, don't just say it, act it. Let your action communicate exactly your words. People reads meaning more to actions than words.
I really love that the roles were reversed,alot of men don't understand that no means no, and this just explains what alot of sexually assaulted victim feel, no means no but not everyone can stand up and leave but if they say no just accept it and maybe call someone who will accept

I totally agree to the No means No. I think we should also learn from her lines, where she said, you have been following me to dinners, receiving gifts, followed me home at late hours, sitting down there while advances are being made, etc. Sometimes the signs are clear but we choose to ignore or maybe deep down, we want it even though we know its wrong

Really loved it. I think it addresses two major points. Firstly, No means No. Secondly, sexting, visiting late at night etc should be avoided when you are not ready for what might come. I love the lady's accent shaa. Nice one
I think the point is that no means no whether I'm in someone's house or not during the day or at night, whether my dress is short, or any other situation that has been used for ages to blame the victim for being sexually assaulted. A woman's body (and man's) is sacred. There will never be a good reason for violating a person. No one asks for it unless they actually ask for it. Consent is critical.
@@norahkiereri4085 actually there's something called innuendos; and, for most of society if someone doesn't accept another's innuendos then the suggester might ask why not... This person was sexting... If he had rejected it or made it plain that he was just playing along then saying No would have been seen as NO, but at this point, it was just seen as part of the act... So this movie is saying that sexual innuendos should be clarified before sexual encounters. Both parties should vote in so each knows how far the other is willing to go toward fulfillment. Overall, the lady has little blame. Very little.
@@ngreat4390 no, I don't agree with you. When I open my mouth and articulate the word "no", no matter the innuendo perceived before, things should come to a screeching halt. Consider another person's body sacred and honour that. Side note: the problem with this depiction is that it fits in with our norms which unfortunately rest purely on the fact that a man can under certain circumstances violate a woman. But consider this, a phenomenon very common today, a man violates another man. Same scenario where a man was perceived to be asking for it and ends up being sexually assaulted by another man because he is presumably playing hard to get. That hopefully gives a better depiction of the violence that is rape and the violation experienced that is excused by the claim of innuendos.
I see a lot of people saying "don't just say NO. Back up your words with action. Flee if you don't want it." Not saying you're wrong, but will you say the same of a lady who gets raped after accepting expensive gifts, dressing in such a way that arouses sexual desire and following a man home? I believe the world calls it victim shaming. Be careful with the double standards, is all I'm saying.
No simple mean no truly. But if it's not working, he should have tried other options like she said. Maybe ran out, scream out , or call for help. Also a word of caution,don't put yourself in a compromising. situation.
