Cecelia sure threw a helluva weaning tantrum! Mother Zuri batted her away from the milk bar several times, and avoided being around her daughter's drawn--out whining. Mum's attitude? "NO YOU DON'T, NOT ON MY WATCH!!!" 😆🤣😸 Often pathetic, but eventually Cecelia will learn how to forage for solid food. If I'm not mistaken, very few babies transition from milk to goodies without such a fuss.MC, I sure appreciate your documentation of primate behaviour--thanks so much for posting this video!! 🐵🐒🐒🇬🇧🐨❤💕

The ground is wet and looks like it is slightly drizzling. But it doesn't seem to bother these monkeys at all.They just go on doing whatever they normally do. It's just a bit noisy to hear all the monkeys and birds calling.

Lots of views for weaning videos . I like to watch them as we get to see them not stuck to the mom all the time. It’s nice to see the moms be-able to not feed them until she has another one. The moms need to be strong for the next one They all sit around and cry for goodies. Why don’t they go eat leaves or forage . It’s like they are ruined
You’re 100% most definitely correct, humans have ruined them due to constant feeding them. Especially all of these VO’s/ people who record and post these videos, they are the main true blame because they are nonstop interfering. Those wild monkeys have been around a hell of a lot longer than humans have and they are still here so that right there should tell us all something. Each and every single time those people interfere with nature and her wildlife they are actually causing more harm than good. For instance, they are always feeding the newborns and infants if a situation arises like the mothers aren’t or they can’t produce milk, but in their long run they are literally just extending their deaths, they are just slowing down the process of how nature is working. When we watch other channels like the Discovery or the National Geographic Channel, you never ever see them getting involved, regardless of the situation they respect the laws of nature and keep their distance and just film/record. These channels should indeed be fined, heavily fined each and every single time they try interfering with nature and those wild creatures!!
It's not easy for the little ones. They fall out of their holy cosy mother and baby milk bubble. They have to learn to fill their stomaches with enough solid food.
They cry, fake they are scared, wait until moms not liking , act like they don’t know what they are doing , try to get someone in trouble so mom is distracted and they try to get groomed hoping mom will not notice then getting milk. Weening time is the best videos there is . We get to see the babies grow up right away and get to see their personalities for once as they are not stuck to the milk bar. Also weening time means new babies are close . We have watched them so long attached to the mom it’s nice to see them be teenagers and fend for themselves .
The weaning is getting earlier and earlier! The mothers who are mostly low borns, don’t have the food to nurse their babies later! These low born babies are low weight, and of marginal health, in comparison to the high born mothers and babies! This is horrible what is happening and it’s getting worse! Will the civil society do something to help? Understand the milk bar is closing because the low borns mothers don’t have enough nutrients etc to make the milk! Meanwhile the high borns continue to nurse their babies and make sure all their families are well fed and taken care of!😢
That was a heck of a tantrum indeed. But the little yawns leading up to it sure were cute. Deenly was the most creative getting into the milk bar after it was closed.
Jeez you people are more interested in milk than the baby’s are! That teat serves more than milk and if baby is tired then she likely just wants to be pacified to take a nap!
I love watching the smart mothers outwit their grown childrens tactics to try and get milk - little milk guzzling brats. I love the babies but man it gets annoying watching a mother cave to the whining grown child thats old enough to fend for themselves.

Do these monkeys look like a totally different bloodline than Arroz group? Narrow through the mouth and much fluffier in my opinion. Being so fluffy makes their snout like really narrow. Especially Pris’ daughters.

Does anyone know what kind of macaque monkeys these are? Not longtail or pigtail. I don't think there are rhesus monkeys either. They kinda look like the snow monkeys of Japan

MC what's the story behind Toni loosing part of her leg? I think you said something about illegal trapping... I know crap like that happens even in the best of environments, Monkey Hill. Did the authorities have to capture her to remove damage or did nature run its course? Very few, I mean FEW, actually video these precious furbabies in their natural habitat without human interference. Thank you so very much for the time you spend with these babies and sharing with us.

I wonder though that even IF you could have caught Toni and removed the line or whatever it was, if her little foot could have been saved. I know they, if left alone, have amazing healing abilities. This is just me talking, okay. I have my doubts that her foot could have been saved so maybe it was best that it actually self amputated. Either way she should never have been subjected to this cruelty. There are some sick pieces of 💩 in this world.
