A late afternoon and early evening kayak float on the Lower Salt River near Mesa, Arizona on September 21, 2024, four nights after the full moon. The river flow was 1,020 cubic feet per second. The moon rises later each night after the full moon, so we did not see the moon rise until we were getting off the river, hence the "no-moon" name for this float. It was still a great time on the river.
