🎥Dedicated RC Channel (Kevin Talbot RC) ru-vid.com/show-UCIHef8qZOAC7AD7rYyce-Ow 🚗Win one of my cars raffall.com/kevin_talbot Reading the comments, I can see some confusion, sorry! The RC content that I'm proud about like projects and exciting new products will mostly stay on this channel, not much will change other than including other hobbies too. Kevin Talbot RC will be dedicated more to RC only and will get all your banggood reviews and stuff like that.
Have you thought about keeping up with the normal videos and throwing the other ones in as they are ready. Doing that will keep you active in the algorithm but regardless I will definitely keep watching.
If editing is the bottle neck it’s time to hire an editor. The more content you push the more audience you can gain. Don’t burn yourself out trying to do it all alone, time to build a team!
I agree with this. If tou have a full time editor you can concentrate on your projects and filming raising the amount of content you put out and help keep growing your channel. Id personally keep all videos on the one channel. Get maximum coverage for all videos that way. Dont see the benifit of doing it on a different channel if your still only doing the same amount of content.
And basically if Kevin wants to do it he can but if you want to see something Kevin has not done don't ask him to do it because someone might have already done that idea and just watch that
We should all support Kev, his work, and his choices. As viewers, we get notifications and watch what we want regardless of which channel it is on. If having dedicated channels for certain content helps Kev keep his life organized I say go for it! Less stress on Kev will create more videos of higher quality for all of us.
This is true until you realize that a large percentage of the people watching probably are under 25 years old and there for are not necessarily fully mature.
Eh its cool you wanna do other things, but this channel was the rc channel; let me repeat that, THE RC CHANNEL!!! We still get to watch your rc stuff but i wonder how much focus will go into it now? Sounds like you really just wanna do other things, and honestly you should! Dont get stuck trying to appease all your followers cause you just can do that
Like others have said, I think it’s time to get a few people behind you to push things forward, biggest one being a editor and one that knows your style, keep up the good work mate 👍🏻
Hey mate, I don’t mind what you put on, or how long it takes, you are just good at what you do and I enjoy watching. Sorry if my comment came across as a complaint. Good on you mate and thanks for all the effort you put into your channel for all of us.
I love that you're expanding your content, I'm definitely along for the ride no matter what you do! All your videos are great but I like that you're doing more than RC. Keep up the good work Kev!
I, for one, really like the diversity of content this channel is starting to provide because, unlike some purists, a lot of people get bored of channels that never change, and it becomes a lot easier for some people to drift off. On the other hand, a major part of RU-vid is being able to adapt to new audiences, and I think that's why it's great what Kevin is doing!
I think what your saying sounds good, my 4yr old is loving what you do, walks round saying" its Christmas every day" and is obsessed with monster trucks aswell as Rc, so top job Kev......
In my opinion. This channel needs to be the one that gets the content. I liked how the second channel was you wrenching, maybe unboxing. Behind the scenes. But you know more of what you’re doing. It’s your baby. Your business. I’ll still watch and love it. 🤟
Thing is kev people came here for the RC stuff myself included so I wouldn't worry about boring people, 2nd channels are great for less polished videos but ultimately your still gonna be doing double duty interns of editing more and more videos to fill both channels with videos, either way I'm happy with what ever you decide 👌
Why not just put it all on one channel? People can just choose to watch whatever they want but that way all your content gets recognition. I love the variety of content you produce and enjoy it all so it's nice for fans like me to just find it all in one place
If you upload too many videos on one channel it doesn't get the same amount of views, that's why many channels when they get big make a second channel.
Because some people who have followed Kev's channel for a while and are purely into the RC aspect may not want to see a Real Monster Truck, Aeroplane, a Lambo etc. I understand entirely growing the channel requires other avenues, and even Ill admit RC as a whole is getting a bit stale lately so I understand it, but its not what some people want to see and getting that notification and seeing its a real Monster Truck or non RC video is a bit of a let down. Id rather see Kev un box a Traxxas that see him buy a Bugatti Chiron or rebuild Concorde. I follow for RC content thats it
@robertstack3403 I am, and I don't get any notifications for his other channel. I have the same problem with lots of creators on here,I only get notifications from the main channel so I have to constantly check the other channels for new content
@@CPRC23 that really doesn't sound like the worste thing ever. For me I like to binge like 3 or more videos at a time so that would work for me but to each their own
@@IwillSolveWorldProblemsVERY true. There's an old saying, and it's 100% accurate: "You can please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time."
@@IwillSolveWorldProblems How about this... Let's say you please everyone who watches your video...but then comes along one person who dislikes and complains about it. With that, you can't say you're pleasing everyone anymore because of that one person. There is always going to be that one person who dislikes a video and goes on in the comments and complains about it for one reason or another, even if it's for a stupid reason. There's no avoiding it. This is the internet...and furthermore this is RU-vid. That's just the way it is. Not one video on this platform has a 100% Like to Dislike ratio and not one comment section that is highly active has 100% positive feedback.
@@IwillSolveWorldProblems You can disagree all you want, but you're still wrong...not that you will ever, or are capable of, accepting this fact. And, no, I'm not going to turn this into some ridiculous religious debate, as it is not worth my time, or effort, nor is this channel the place for such.
You are the brand. You are the thing people keep clicking and coming back to. The RC part is of course a draw but it's your personality and enthusiasm that carries the channel (in my humble opinion). So I think this is a smart and exciting choice of development. I could watch you be enthusiastic and including about almost anything. I don't even have an RC and I have been following for years. Expand, invent, try...yup, I'm totally here for that and wish you all the best!
I'm an rc pilot, don't even have a rc car. I find all of your content entertaining. If I have to see it on 2 different channels, that's fine by me! Keep it comming😊
Yes Kev! This is what we like to see growth and interaction with the audience, to many channels losing themselves in the algorithm. 👌🏻 I love your side projects and the mad stuff you do other than RC. But RC is what brought me here and would love to see more uploads on the separate channel. 💯👊🏻
Been watching for years and have always found your channel entertaining. The difference now is you can now play with more expensive toys. Good luck Kev.
You’re trying to grow and evolve without abandoning your core audience. That’s smart and I think you’re doing it the right way. I’ll sub to both channels. I can see how only doing RC vids would burn someone out over years of doing it, so branch out and keep having fun!
As a very casual RC hobbyist, I skip the usual RC videos and watch the "world's fastest/biggest", monster truck, and more interesting type videos. But also just do what you like to do. None of it matters if you get burnt out.
You've mentioned turbocharging the Lambo, maybe you could test your high end editing chops on filming a specialist get it done, a feature type one shot video. And we defo need to see your new place get fitted out and moved into. Just share your passion, I think having you do different things will keep you interested and keen to make more rather than feeling stuck in a rut or feeling forced to do something over and over, it must become a chore. Have fun!
I think you have the business plan of it right. The key will be releasing enough RC content on the second channel to keep your original audience happy. For the bread and butter though I have to agree that using this channel for wider appeal content is the best bet for channel growth. I'm subbed to both of your channels so I'll be happy either way.
Don't let anyone hold you back Kev, been a devoted fan for years now, and I'm excited for what you venture into next. I watch more for the entertainment and personality than the RC content. Give it a rip mate, give us plenty of footage and let the haters ask what happened 😂
I think most of us are here for you Kev. Doesn't matter what the content is. Yes 99% of us probably found you through RC but we stay for you. Do what puts the biggest smile on your face and we will support you.
It's a tough one to do, trying to appeal to more people because at the end of the day people followed you because of the RC thing and in time have grown to be invested in you as a person. I love the channel and I'm into RC to a certain extent so that's what keeps me coming back as well as the fact you wear your heart on your sleeve which people relate to. I would suggest (I'm no expert btw just personal belief) , don't stray too far from what got you noticed in the first place, maybe you could go around meeting people starting out , go to their local track or bash spot, give them help. Or maybe do a vid where you design your own RC car from scratch 3d print it ??? Or the parts, I dunno just an idea .. different but still the same subject. I liked the monster truck vids , they're cool, but it wouldn't be something I would want to watch religiously. In summary my belief is use your notoriety and fame from your knowledge of RC cars, could do one where you create an event Kevfest 2024 where it's one of the biggest RC events in UK for example or something similar, people would watch that in my humble opinion. unless you want to go the MR Beast way and make the whole channel about your personality then I think it's risk cos your a likeable , interesting bloke just I imagine that would be tough to maintain cos you strike me as someone who has to be interested in the subject to focus on it Use the other channel for your non RC stuff but keep focussed on what got you where u are !
Kevin brother, watching you just whip out serious fab skills with the monster truck seriously blew my mind. Literally a master welder. Just yanked that out of nowhere. You built planes? I don't remember. I think a car type channel would be great. Have a good friend helping.
Your channel is all about motoring fun centralized around RC. You do you man. Keep on track with what you are doing or you will begin to not like what you are doing.
One thing that I would love to see you do is to build your ideal ultimate RC car from scratch not a store-bought kit or a modified base to start with but a complete ground-up build of what you feel is the ultimate RC car
You do you. At this point, you know what people like to watch. So adjust as you see best. Even tho most tune in for the RC, I think they like seeing the extreme bashing with your personality being the cherry on top. Just have fun with it!
You’re not allowed to quit RC cars, your one about the XRT is literally what got me into them and now I’m like $8,000 deep in them because you got me addicted. Don’t quit!!!
Kev, you are a personality now, and I think people (I know I would) just be happy to watch you do anything. ANdy the Landi is already epic, just leave it all on the one channel and people can scroll on or watch what they want. My 2 bobs worth. Keep at it.👊🏻
I dig ALL of your videos! Part of it is just how you present things and seem genuinely excited about it and its entertaining... just have fun!!! I will go have a look for the other channel....
Watching your content for like over 3-4 years now and i can say youve had a great channel expandation. Keep doing what you love most and i wish you the very best on the isle of man! BOOM!
That's actually a really good idea. I do like that you are giving away rcs, I think what you should do is take some of the rc cars that you don't use that are really durable to a children's hospital or something like that. Most kids love rcs, even if they don't even get fully into it
you are a great inspiration to young kids, they don't even understand how much they learn from watching your videos. From the mechanics to the electronics, its great for kids. My son loves watching your videos, he is 6. Oh and I love watching them as well. You do whatever you want, you know what your doing. thanks for the great entertainment.
Late to the party but I actually watch because of your sound effects and antics with Rc like I crash in a race and get frustrated or I break a car and get down because I have to make a trip to the store or online but you break or crash and make it fun long story short the way you are about it made me want to enjoy the hobby another way by wrenching more than playing and building and restoring old stuff
I am really glad you do it, i really like rc, but these monster truck videos, repairing Andy and a bit of rovergheeni was teally fun to watch too so i think, it is a really good idea to make both sides happy👍
