Particles are very important but at the same time, it's very confusing.
は(wa) has 2 main functions
1. Topic marker
2. Contrast marker
が(ga) has 4 main functions
1.to indicate existence
2.to describe how it is
3.similar to wa but it focuses on the topic
4.subject is a nonliving thing + action verb
However, language is not that simple.
So, you have to keep learning about how you can speak like a native. For this, you have to keep listening the natural Japanese conversation and learn the natural phrases.
