Nice set up. i did something similar with similar pickets and they ended up a grayish type color. So i pressure washed them and then stained them using Ready seal and used a hand held weed sprayer to stain them and wow it came out amazing. That ready seal stain is awesome stain.
You'll love the fabric but not so much the metal pins which rust within a year, leaving way for weeds to go around. They make plastic button anchors which are much better especially with dogs running around. You have to cut a small slit for the button to go through, but worth it. Nice job Christian!
Hey I appreciate you sharing your journey on the house! Looking good, it looks like your web site is down, are you going to be getting that back? I’m in northern Idaho and have questions about the build!
The fence came out badass man 🙌🏼off topic a bit but is your house a post frame house or is all steel frame? I see you did board and batten siding so that made me wonder since it doesn't have sheetmetal siding
My advice is dont bother to finish them because they will silver grey and look good with your paint color. However if you do use anything the penetrating oil cedar shade may be a good call. I will admit the top board in particular may need the oil. I used it for my top deck board which had issues over time.
Can we paint match the fence to the house or have it painted a sick dark contrasting color? Love the black theme on the outside and the new fence seems to collide with it.
