I can't tell if that makes the game better or worse. On the one hand, it plays really heavily into the narrative about how Travis, in his desire for escapism in this cool guy antihero assassin fantasy, esp in the first game, gets so desensitized to killing that he doesn't stop to take a second guess about who he's killing which he does in 2. On the other hand, the catalyst for the game was based on a side quest are you fucking kidding me Suda 51
Those bosses are a pain in the butt, very annoying to fight against, even when I played normally I managed to lose, nevertheless the game is one of my favorites
