NMH3...if the red orca versions of the boss themes were in the game NO QUESTION The soundtrack STILL BANGS HARDER THAN MOST GAMES DONT GET ME WRONG But with the vocals OOOOOOOOOOO that would've banged, I really wonder what made them go with instrumentals from the Red Orca Orca Force album over the entire track!
This song puts me in a weird hazy place of sunlight and bitter nostalgia. I love it, but I hate it. It makes me remember what was, what could've been, in a perfect world. Goddammit Travis.
Man, the game would gain so much for having pre-boss stages with music like this, specially the final Fu battle would feel awesome after traversing Damon tower and killing hundreds of goons while you listen to some cool shit in the BG. Just offing like 6 "Goombahs" with henshin was very underwhelming. And as much as I hated Jasper Batt (Guess that was the point tho) the stage and OST in there more than made up for it.
I feel like that was one of the bigger complains about NMH2 though was the fact that some of the stages were really long with nothing but combat sections and long hallways. I think they intentionally avoided that this time around.
@@KaisogenI heard one reviewer say that it was a deliberate psychological choice, to make you feel more in tune with Travis. Rank #4's parking lot was easily the worst offender. For me personally, my biggest issue with NMH2 was removing all of the personality. Like Rank #4 again, her pre fight cutscene is maybe 20 seconds at best. We get no indication or personality at all. Alice was the only cutscene in the entire game to have any actual impact IMO
