To my sister's, what we wear tells a lot about our character and self-respect. The Most High says for the women ( young women, young girls included ) to dress in modest apparel. This wasn't just for our foremothers but for women throughout the generations. If we feel as though we have to wear less clothing to be attractive to men or feel pretty, then we may have low self-esteem. There are other nations who have laws about how women should dress, and I understand why. More chance of men respecting you. I didn't always dress modest, but since I have started, I feel feminine, classy, and somewhat sexy. I'm not trying to shame my sisters, just sharing the Most Highs laws, statues, and commandments. We women want to be treated as ladies, so we need to act and dress accordingly. Shalawam.
