Dave, from the amount of times you've failed the believers, it's no surprise that they didn't believe you. They care about you but they don't have the channel points after losing so much.
In response to the anchovies on pizza I worked at Pizza Hut at one point and we did have a request for anchovies and we had to get a new cutting blade and clean everything for it.
This video unironically has some of the coolest level designs I've ever seen. The Link riding a shell one, the Mole one, and the super difficult previous 51 minute record one were 🔥
Absolutely 100% always watched Whose Line for the entire cast, Drew included. He meshed amazingly with the performers. Aisha isn't....bad, but there is clearly less chemistry between her and the guys. Plus, whether you liked him or not, you HAVE to admit Drew knew how to take a hell of a ribbing and give it back in good fun lol
For the first level, it looks like you let the feather touch you instead of walking into it. Maybe the initial run gets interrupted when you collect the power up, screwing up P speed or something.
Best line from the Drew Carey show... Mimi: I've got guys throwing themselves at me. Drew: yeah, if they're out of bullets and they've already thrown the gun.
As some post-forty, yeah... Everything hurts and your skeleton makes crunchy noises. I haven't been asked for a senior discount, but I only use the self checkouts so...
Gotta come in here and say, keep up the amazing work, you inspired me to start RU-vid and it has been the best thing I have done! You are amazing and the next major RU-vidr of our generation! Keep it up and we will see you in the big leagues!!!
nobody believes in you You've lost again and again and again The lights are cut off But you're still looking at your dream Reviewing it every day and saying to yourself "It's not over until I win"? Sing with me, sing for the year Sing for the laughter and sing for the tear
I'm 43 and I cannot believe you're younger than me. You give off such a dad vibe. I haven't noticed that being over 40 made a difference, but I have enough medical issues that I wouldn't have noticed.
As a newly on-tha-hiller, I feel the best I’ve ever felt! I have all the wisdom from my earlier years mistakes and I don’t feel limited physically. I think as long as you keep working your mind muscle youll still feel like you’re younger!
That part of the end, with him talking about being near 40 years old, I thought for sure he'd go onwards after beating it, calling the Doubter's Tears as his own personal Fountain of Youth. LOL
Anchovies are amazing, especially if you're going after the savory side of pizza. I love anchovies with banana peppers, jalapeños, and even giardiniera peppers, and then add feta cheese to that. This current deep dish I'm eating has all these, plus a ghost pepper cheese(not really tasting much of the ghost pepper cheese tbh), and it is quite delicious!
So you beat the level from first try, and you decide to try again because you wonder how it was done without many tries and deaths, then you fail many times to do it again.. 😢
Drew screwing up the Irish Drinking Song in that one episode was the funniest thing I've ever seen in my life. Ryan and Colin just went to town with it.
@@Leo2000___ Fs after my time on twitch I've learned that no matter how much I want to believe in Dave, most of the time it's much safer not to... Thanks for the response!
Can't wait for Dave to have a segment about how the Family Feud is terrible without Richard Dawson xD Drew Carey is a funny guy too, just watch the clips of him mocking the prizes
This video's thumbnail is a shameful lie. I can't find any levels in this video that look exactly like the thumbnail. Though the last level resembles the thumbnail, there's no lava bubbling under the axe, let alone the freefall onto the axe. I find this tactic to be dishonest in the extreme.
I mean, if you've got a better man for the job on The Price is Right... I like Bob Barker too, but he couldn't last forever. Being a gameshow host isn't easy. You need the showmanship, never to get angry at the contestants more than act played up for the audience, and to be able to basically live with it day in and day out for potential years. If not Drew, then who? NO ONE can live up to Bob Barker, but the show is what's important. Okay, we all know that everyone watches Whose Line Is It Anyway for Ryan Stiles, Colin Mochrie, and Wayne Brady...but Brad, Chip, Greg, and everyone else is funny, and Drew? The problem is that he's not to your standard or mine. He's a low-hanging fruit that sometimes produces funny, and that's why he hosted. That isn't a TOTAL lack of funny, just not that much. Frankly, hosting Whose Line meant he had hosting experience, which worked for The Price Is Right.
28:12 well I'm 51 and I've noticed it went aboot like this, you spend your: 20's - figuring out what you want to do 30's - figuring out how to do it 40's - doing it 50's - beginning to enjoy it
I agree with DGR on this. Drew Carey isn't funny. His supporting cast on the show was funny and the other people on Whose Line were the funny ones. Not Drew
My man dave where's MARIOTHON ?....THX for all thing that i learn from your experience and your jokes the BEST in life .... lover from arab world... *Mohammed* :D
Hey DGR_Dave can u play my Troll course TOAD'S TERROR 2 ( S30-S52-22G), it has a 0.48 clear rate and only 2 clears. I hope you'll consider playing this level, I think you'll enjoy it DGR. 😁
Can I give you another perspective on the TPiR hosting? Bob Barker deserved to retire. He wanted to be done with it, and enjoy his old age with grace. Drew Carey has taken some big shoes to fill, and found a way to fill them with his own style. He was never going to be another Bob. Nobody could be another Bob. Isn't it better to enjoy each for what it strives to be, and take joy when it succeeds? And another, unfortunately dark question: if Bob Barker didn't retire, what then? We've seen how tough it can be when a host suddenly passes in Alex Trebek on Jeopardy! If TPiR had found a way to hold on to Bob Barker, he would have likely passed just as suddenly, and production would have been lost in how to move forward. I think everything worked out for Jeopardy! because the did just have Ken Jennings prove himself to be a complete trivia genius, and also found a celebrity well-rounded knower of things in Mayim Bialik. Between them, they found their niches, and both perform well for the show as hosts, but getting there was rocky to say the least. I worry that TPiR would have issues finding its footing in a similar situation, and ratings would likely drop before they could find their right successor, honestly putting the entire show in danger.
Dave…Dave…(sigh)..Dave. Drew Carey is a fantastic comedian. He got called over to the couch on Carson, his show The Drew Carey Show was fantastic and he’s an all around swell guy. I think you should definitely search out some of his standup. You’d be impressed.
As someone who's 41, I feel *mentally* like I'm still 25ish. I just don't feel any different. Physically, well, I've been disabled for the last ten years, so I'm not a good baseline. Also, the "Yoshi" area of that one level themed on different games, the last pipe was correct because "Yoshi" was the name of a puzzle game where you had to match enemy types to make them vanish, or sandwich them between a bottom and top eggshell half to eliminate several at once. You had four stacks and could swap adjacent stacks, and if a stack built up past the top of the screen, it was game over. The last pair was two Goombas, so that was the correct pipe.
I’m 41, my friends and acquaintances mostly all look haggard and complain incessantly of pain and such. Majority of the ones who kept in shape/went to the gym have either completely given up or more often injured themselves to the point of nearly being crippled. Don’t know, I feel great and like life is just beginning and occasionally get called son by people my age. Life is pretty great!
I'm quite amused with age, now that I'm 73. The images in my mind happen to all involve me at a much younger age. At 40, you a hitting the MIDDLE of your life. What you gonna do with the other half, now?
Drew Carey actually carried alot of the comedians that we enjoy today. He is beloved amongst the comedians. You name a comedian, they will say only kind words about him. He thoroughly enjoys and deserves his place in the Price is Right.
You're not wrong. The ending of Who's Line hosted by Drew Carey, when whoever did the skit with Drew, it wasn't always the worst skit of the episode, but it was (almost) always in the low light.
DGR missed out on "Welcome to 'Whose Line Is It Anyways?' where everything is made up and the points don't matter. That's right, the points are like Drew Carey on 'Whose Line Is It Anyways?'" Besides, it was basically Colin's show.
I'm over 40 and I don't feel old at all. I think with modern living, 40 is now more like 30. It takes 10 more years to get established, have kids, get a career, etc. And we live a bit longer. I feel great actually.
My wife and I are in our early to mid 40s. It’s rough sometimes, but if you don’t cheat yourself on sleep and too much junk food, it’s okay most of the time. You’re still young enough to enjoy your kids, and old enough to have the money to spoil them on occasion.
I work in pizza. It's not a popular topping, but people do, in fact, order anchovies on their pizza. We had a regular who would just get extra anchovies, no other toppings.
How's it feel to be old? Remember the last time you were young but over did it, and woke up stiff and sore the next morning? That's every morning you didn't do anything. Doing something makes it even worse.
Looks like you're letting go of the slam when you hit the flower. The flower seems to stop the screen to turn you, and this is where you're letting go of your slam. Just keep holding it down until after the flower turns you and you should be able to slam the plants.
How does it feel to be old you ask Dave? it sucks. I turned 42 last month and it depresses the hell out of me, one of the worst things is constantly seeing the life insurance and final expenses ads that never shut up when i'm watching tv, and i realize those ads are no longer just for old people but myself cause i AM one of those old people now. 😔
on the last try of the first level u did do it u just exit the level look at the first try it took a second to kill the munchers and it didnt show the spin animation and it happend too on the last try
