@@Otisboy121not really, thinking that they’d actually show that particular moment form the comics is delusional. They will NEVER show that. There’d be too much backlash, possibly lawsuits. Not to mention the fact that no one would be able to react to it, cause even the mere mention of the word is enough to get entire channels permabanned.

Yeah I think it was a really clever use of dramatic irony, a way for the show to communicate with fans of the comics “we know who she is and what she does”

Its the same in this comics at that point if i recall. She also pushes Mark into a crater on the end of first encounter. I guess its one of her things. So its a 'bonus' tease of other horrific scene thats gonna happen, but would probably look the same even without thay scene appearing later. Due to comic accuracy

The sheer terror and the way Adam was flinching every time Anissa was anywhere near Mark, or even said that she wanted to talk to him alone, tells the whole story.

They will never show what she does to Mark in the comics. There’d be too much backlash, that moment will be cut out entirely and they will do something different with her.

@@matthewterlaga3022 Maybe they won't visually show what she does to him but they could allude to some things. Perhaps they will tone down certain aspects of her character.

Tbh I want them to go as all out as they can, it would shed some light on male victims and maybe spark a conversation about it. They probably will tone it down/offscreen but allude to it, but it would be extremely ballsy if they didn’t.

@@Observer-OHmmm...how to say this with minimal spoilers... Her motivations for her actions are not strictly personal. Viltrumites have a specific goal she is trying to contribute to, albeit in an especially messed up way. If they do that scene before revealing those other motivations, it would make an already touchy subject seem to come completely out of nowhere.

I think it is explain in multiple ways much earlier. Just read the comics m8. Whole major reveal Nolan will make to Allen in that prison is there are only around 50 viltrumites left, so its pretty obvious they need to reproduce. The thing about "forcing themselves" onto weaker individuals is only explained though after Annissa violates Mark. It doesnt need more explanation. It fits unfortunatelt quite understandably into viltrumites barbaric invaders nature... its vile and self explanatory, so i think it will be more of a shock when it happens and Nolan will justify it after everything, like its natural for him. It will only force Mark to change viltrum ways later on. Its important part of it all to additionaly show how Nolan, even after all this still is very much flawed by old ways of viltrum. Even after changing so much already

I was initially like "Donald is huge in the comics!" but then I remembered he's actually huge in the OTHER Invinciverse comics, but yeah, in Invincible proper, he totally is a background character. I'm really glad we're getting the full version of him cuz he's always been one of my favorites.
