Nobody did a primal scream like Jim. He put his mark on everything he touched....

Robby is the Best guitar player of all in my opinion. His finger work is amazing to watch and listen to. John is a beast on the drums. Full of passion. Ray trances out every song, just watch his face in any of the Doors live shows. And Jim brought it all together with his words, his ability to put all of his heat and fire forth in his voice, his body moves whichever way the music takes him. He felt it, he was the music when he sang. It over took him. They are the Best band to me.

It’s wild how very different the times were compared to 2019! First off the draft means nothing today. Back in the 60’s for a kid about to turn 18 it was in your face and on you and-your family’s mind! Jim coming from a major military family rebelled against the main stream! From a very educated kid to a in a spotlight man! How could anyone with so much influence and charisma over an entire generation last as long as he did! His candle burned so bright it amazes even now!

It's like he came to earth to do a specific mission for a short time only to leave a big stamp on the world.

He said it himself, he was a shooting star. "I see myself as a huge fiery comet, a shooting star. Everyone stops, points up and gasps "Oh look at that!" Then- whoosh, and I'm gone...and they'll never see anything like it ever again... and they won't be able to forget me- ever." -Jim Morrison

Jim was also a true narcissist. his eye would always catch the camera,Jim took theatrics n Rock to a new and strange level, hypnotizing his entire audience 🖤 like no one previous, present , or since. He had tremendous charisma, wrote intelligent lyrics and yet Jim was like you n me by not trusting the 'man' , wanting the V. N. war over . 🖤 Sadly the fast accent proved to be too much ( how does one handle such fanfare , money, the best drugs, sex n RocknRoll, idolized by millions ) Jim Morrison turned more to hard alcohol in excess . Jim was not healthy when he n Pamela flew to Paris , France 🇫🇷 .He also had hard prison time hanging over his head , Morrison's lawyer advised him to 'get out of Dodge ' before the government pulled his passport. The prison was hardcore Bad ! 🇺🇸 So with Pamela's encouragement, they flew to Paris.🖤. July 3 ,1971 Jim Morrison died in women's restroom of the club Rock n Roll Circus Paris .He sampled China white heroin which was too pure @90 % and he was drunk mixed with pure heroin. Transported back to his apartment and put in the hot tub to disguise the time of death in order to protect club's owner and it's elites clientel from being busted. July 7 , 1971 his funeral was strange and hurried. Some soft words spoken then people leaving hurridly, paranoia in the air .two Americans in Paris had stumbled upon funeral who told their story to us ( Americans ). I even saw the writing on the left bank of the Seine river which was "Jim was a junkie " It was common knowledge in certain circles in Paris after July 3 ,1971 . Pamela joined Jim almost 3 years later in 1974 in California .. Pamela was just 27 also 🖤 😵 😱

I’ve loved Jim Morrison for over 20 years now and I still have to remind myself he only ever made it to *27yo*. He was truly a shooting star 💫💥⚡️🔥✨❤️

After reading David McGowan's "Weird Scenes Inside the Canyon: Laurel Canyon, Covert Ops & the Dark Heart of the Hippie Dream", I understand why he says you have to be a politician to be a superstar...

I'd give anything to go to 1970 and convince Jim Morrison and Ozzy Osbourne to swap places for one album. I guess because they are my two favorite bands. It probably would have flopped, but maybe it would have been amazing.

7:59 WAKE UP!!!! Light my fire!
