Let's say I contribute $1000. That means I have 0.00000113636% of the pool 0.00000113636 % * 555,555 = 0.63 RON per day That means with $1000 contributed, I'm getting 0.63 RON per day. We'll assume that each Ron is worth $2 as you guess. 2/1000...that's 0.2% interest per day or 107% APY Staking currently gives you a reward of 150%+ APY (but you have to manually compound daily) Therefore I think staking is the safer mood. It really depends on what the price of Ronin launches at.
Also, even though ETH does not have a max supply, it is deflationary now. There is more being burned than being minted. So basically it is more scarce than a coin with max supply
that would suggest that these other companies would switch to using ronin rather than their native chain... which seems unfeasible if they were already successful. Much more likely they will develop their own dex.
Lunacia SDK, its a tool to create games based on assets of Axie Worlds. I am sure other companies wont use Ronin Chain, but idle programmer such as me will use that SDK to create my games

LP is a risky business, sure, you get RON, but you should really emphasize that you can expect impermanent loss. For the rest, great video. How do you think it would perform compared to staking axs with daily restaking? If the current staking reward APR stays constant (I know it won't, but now it's 114%), the true rewards will be (1+(1.14/365))^365= 3.12, so you would have 3.12x the axs by staking at an annualized rate. This will change after december though, when the AXS rewards will drop, but it's still significant. Add to this that AXS could very well double in a year and so you would have an annualized return of 6x (2x price, 3x amount). Love your method for price prediction :), I might use a portion of staked axs for LP

Love your insights man! But a bit out of topic. I hope, skymavis make axie ownership fully on the players, because now you just own the axie itself but not fully, to make it simple, it does not include cards/parts stats in your ownership as they can manipulate or change damage and defense by themselves by patching the game, if we are truly own the NFT they can change it whenever they want because they don't have access in our assets, instead they need to implement patches or any update on the hatching eggs or the newly minted axies. If this implemented some prices of axies may rise, I know it will impact the game and meta-builds but they can also add in axie meta data patch ID upon breeding/minting eggs and have a rule that only patch ID greater than xxx will be allowed in PVPs. Actually now I don't feel that I own any of my axies, because anytime devs can patch and change damage and def of my NFT. Patch ID rules, make make axie more rarer than before if they implement this. And just to add, with this I think It will be easier to migrate my axies in different game as my pet or familiar, it will be easier to integrate NFTs from Axie to other games ex: My axie as a pet in GALA or SANDBOX.

Unlike staking, we have to put both SLP or AXS and WETH into the LP. In other words is not $100 but $200, hence the ideal 1 yr ROI is not 6.6 but 3.3. UNLESS the table you showed, row '$ Invested' is the total $ invested between SLP or AXS and WETH. Could you please enlighten me?

There are many gaming DEX close to release that already have signed other games. Gala and IMX. Katana will not have the market exclusively and they are not even close to owning the entire market like steam.
Ehhh. I highly doubt it would be used for other games outside the sky mavis ecosystem while Enjin exists. If it can offer something more than what Enjin offers then maybe it's possible, but as of now this statement is a stretch.

great explanation: the exposure other games will get to a loyal fanbase of millions of experienced crypto users will definitely draw them in(ex. starting up staking pools like Pancakeswap with them or NFT Drops off the marketplace). Along with soo many big boys providing liquidity-saw a few interviews from big firms stating they want to accumulate as much RON as possible and it's more important than AXS
Many games have signed up for IMX layer 2 marketplace even though they have 2 games and more on the way. Agree though, they ain’t going to be the steam of NFT games.

You just didn't mentioned the IL. I provided $250 equivalent to farm RON e and I've already lost $50 for IL. Ron would've to be more valuable than the ideal scenario to compensate that loss.
@@Kovvv I don't have axs anymore. Axie is an unreliable investment for me since they threw people under 800 MMR under the bus. Who knows who they will fuck over? I will just farm 50 slp daily for a while and see what's going on.
Sounds great, I just have 2 concerns: 1) What happens after they give out the initial 100mil RON tokens? 2) What happens after the incoming crypto bullrush ends and the values start falling off massively?
When the supply gets capped there will be small Ron fees on katana/Ronin transactions. So those fees will still be paid to liquidity providers. Atleast that is my understanding.
Good insight but its a no for me, pancake swap can just make a dedicated swap for gaming and with the history of fail after fail of a simple patch to a simple game by sky mavis will be a big deal when choosing katana against a pancake made gaming swap for example.

To be honest; the game is boring, there are other games that give you better returns and the graphics are primitive. I am heavily invested into Axie infinity but its been almost 2 weeks now that i haven't played (it's too boring). I am still bullish long term but what i wish to see is a more fun quicker gameplay soon!
