how to balance swordsman: if you take damage, you cant teleport back

there's this strat that I and my friends found out about. someone goes demolition and gets on top of the enemy bed defense and then disconnect. it still counts as dying so you spawn tnt.

So for my friend and I, this is one of our favorite dreams mode (up there with rush). For our strategy, we normally travel the map together and rush the bases as a group, not individually. For the first rush, we either one stack up from our island or scorpion bridge a little, and then get to a place where we can use the swordsman kit to get to the next base. I go in and fight the enemy for a few seconds to get them low and then teleport back if need be. As I fight them, my teammate teleports in and drops a tnt on the defense. We the return and break the bed after it goes off and then kill them. This is pretty effective and we win around 9 out of every 10 games with it. As for countering the swordsman, what we tend to do (this can be done either solo or together) is wait for the person to prepare their teleport. When we see them doing that, we predict where they’re going to land and move slightly out of the way. Once they get to our island, we try to hit them just after they land and get then in a combo. Typically they teleport out, but if you keep this up long enough, you can either kill them or scare them away. This strategy can be made even more effective if you force them to teleport back and then fireball where they came from bc then they have no way to stop themselves from falling into the void. I’ve been able to kill people with prot diamonds and sharp iron while in prot leather using that counter. These are just a few of the things I do when we play the mode, so I hope it helps out! As long as you can predict/outplay the enemy, you can easily win or clutch most of your games. (Jump boost is also op with swordsman). Hope it helps!!

Ive done ultimate before, but everyone else rushes instantly

The dash class used to be so OP, it was the only class that people used (some used double jump) and then Hypixel decided maybe the dash class needs a buff and they added the ability to teleport back

You should know that the builder kit is actually overpowered. Like, you can straight sprint towards a base. It takes like 6 7 secs to get there

I use kangaroo class and beat everyone with it just to prove to them the swordsmen is not the only good class.

The current meta that I use is rush with swordsman on both of your island's sides, then become builder and build bridges to both sides to collect iron. Than I buy a ton of tnt and wool, build up to sky limit and use the bridge that comes with the builder(left click on brick) and basically better to rush than swordsman because you take no fall damage and they can't touch you

If a team of swordsman users build a staircase to rush you, you can fireball their bridge once they teleport. This way, when they try to teleport back, they all fall into the void.

heres a challenge idea: only defending challenge, you can not rush or break any beds. you can only stay at your base for the entire game and try to win.

I'll be honest the best strategy at this stage in ultimates is to rush. On almost every map you can grab 16 blocks as quickly as possible. Use them to build up and then using swordsman launch yourself to the next base. You can usually break a bed about 20 seconds into a game if all goes according to plan. Also some maps such as orchestra you don't actually need any blocks. You can just jump to the middle island and then straight to their base. But because there is a short grace period at the beginning of the game where ultimates are not enabled it's usually still faster to get blocks.

Ultimate mode sucks. Only swordmen.

In my experience you need to have an upgrade already to get the next upgrade. It will always give you dragon buff if you don't already have an upgrade. With gatherer it will more likely double if you wait for it to have at least 2 diamonds and emeralds in the gen.

Use the gatherer when you are getting emeralds and diamonds, use the double jump if the map is super small so that you can jump back up from the void, and use the overpowered swordsman kit for everything else.

Frozen is op. The slow pot allow u to crit and stops them from criting and allows for easy combat. Also it is nearly impossible to break a bed if slowed cause it also acts like moning fatigue

ultimates my fav cuz of the one with the ender chest where u can get 2x diamonds and ems AND you can bank them whenever you want. The strat i like to do is go in ultimate doubles with my brother and right off the bat i get the 2x diamond one and my brother gets builder and he bridges to diamonds and emeralds and i collect them so when i run back with 32 diamonds and 16 ems i put obsidiand and get sharpness and prot

If they using the swordsmen cheese strat, jsut destroy the platform of where they dashed from and if they go back they jsut fall in the void. This is kinda dumb, but like it’s better then getting spawn killed 500 times.
