It cracks me up, thinking back to all the raids people would run like this where everything was reserved. I used to capitalize on raids like these by then starting a raid with less strict level requirements, rolls, and only half needing to know the raid. Filled up in no time flat. I get the top 1% players wanting only 1% players, but for everyone else who plays, to think you deserve the same standards is insane. That's how raids don't get done.

@Joe Schmoe Yea man, this video kinda makes me upset, and to be honest it shouldn't at all. I think it makes me kinda upset is because I actually enjoyed Asmon's stream, but knowing how much of a piece of shit he is. It extremely pisses me off. So let me get this straight.... he rushes throught the leveling part as quickly as possible via dungeons, goes to raids and funnels all of the good loot to him or McCool, is given thousands of gold and mats from professions to craft BiS items including reputation items *but* in 3-4 weeks time he will complain that there is not enough *content* for him to do..... is this how it works?

But because people didnt want to deal with that, he had to say "it was a prank bro". His problem here was doing this so early. People is still leveling up and getting gear, they want and need the gear, so of course they wont allow the streamer to get the items they need. If Asmon waited like... 4-5 weeks, people wouldnt have cared about Asmon reserving items, because they probably wouldnt need them.

He doesnt normally reserve all the loot, he talks about it, but will generally reserve 1 or 2 items, which isnt wrong if he is open about it from the start. He even let an epic mace BOE go for open roll in karazahn...... if he was the massive ninjalooter he pretends to be, that would have been put away quicker than his wallet when his dad offers to buy him lunch!

@@jethrodark2372 I've been raiding about 8 years with ML back in the day and never had anything bad happen in my Guild (so for the characters that mattered to me). Establishing rules and having a ML with very good rep is all you needed. Thats also why I've been leading PUG Raids myself....most expirienced in most cases and a good rep because I did this since Classic with alts.

The answer is clear that he wouldn't. That's why he tries to run his own raids where master loots everything to him and his people. Personally I'd never raid with him because of that. Asmongold is the typical WoWbro who is all about his small circle of friends and to hell with everyone else. Throws scraps to anyone outside of the circle because he knows he can't take everything.

So if you have a guild that's going to raid regularly, and you know you're going to gear yourself eventually. Then it's not really a big deal if you give away 1-2 items to asmon so that you can have the experience of playing infront of what is a large stadium of people. Think about it, how many people will ever get to have that sort of experience, even if you're anti-social the idea that 80k people are gonna read what you say can be thrilling for a lot of people. Being able to see yourself in a video that will have hundreds of thousands of views. That has value, which for many is more important than gear they will get anyway.

First World problems hardship is when you're trying to apply the word 'hardship' to things that don't cause physical or emotional harm to you, problems that others in other parts of the world wish they had instead of the problems they actually have. And as I said in my second paragraph while I think McConnell used word in a first-world setting sort of way I do totally understand where he was coming from and agree with what he's trying to do.

Randoms dont care to gear the tank first. Its not "their" tank - Tank first only applies to guildraids/constant raidgroups. I like asmon, generally speaking, but his attitude when it comes to loot is horrible,...these were the people we kicked out of the raid/guild. Raiding is a team effort, not just the tanks. Casual bad player attitute.

I’m a boomer, I’ve been playing WoW since 2004, I’ve seen every aspect of raider there is and this is by far the most annoying concept, “I made the raid, I get all the loot”, no one wants to raid with that, I understand he has his cronies who will lick his balls and taint just to be notice by him, but like McConnell said, no body wants to put up with that shit especially only a week into a new-old expack, everyone has the same goals and that’s to gear up. I also understand the point he made about gearing up tanks first, I’ve been in guilds that did that with the tanks understanding that their role in raid is tanking and nothing else, don’t even think about DPSING or rolling on dps gear. Streamer privilege at its finest right here, Asmon really needs to give more credit to McConnell, without his voice of reason, Asmon is literally pointing a gun at his own foot many times lol
