No One Will Go Fishing With Me! Alan Blair 

This man got me into fishing after watching my first urban banx 10 years ago

Alan is a master at tracking. Catch more by moving go,go,go. I live on the side of a canal and also the river runs very close. I love to roam the banks searching for the carp. At times it can be very boring to sit behind motionless rods for days. Yet I would gladly walk the canal and river for the same time without a moment of boredom and also without having to use phone every five mins. What Alan brought to the carp scene is another way to go about your fishing. Top man. Obviously that is all my own opinions.

I was lucky enough to have won a 24hr session with a very respected and well experienced angler. And during this 24 hours, we had this conversation about media around the angler, and like alan has hit on the head, it's so restrictive in stopping them just fish properly, but also has its upsides as to catch one for the camera to show what they have done works and sharing the buzz. But the angler was just greatful that to him it was a chance to relax and just enjoy the fishing with none of the can we take that shot again or can you just cast that again. At the end of the day famous or not famous, we just want to enjoy the moment and make the most of the time we get behind the rod(s).

I love alan and i loved how incorporated his family in shows. However its like watching top gear with matt le blanc. It never really is the same. You like cars(p) you like everything about it. But sometimes people capture a mindset and when i drive down the motorway to the trent im still saying more speed and power. Then im trying to bread bomb it. Legends are allowed to be ok.

Is this in regards to that clip where you put a rod down and let the fish tear through lillypads JUST to go into another swim and get your camera so you could film it? He lost the fish. Is that why?? I haven't watched the video yet.

Ok upfront I am an old boy who has got into fishing very late in life ( Jack Hargreaves was my hero as a kid ) so only recently got to know some of the characters in fishing. Alan being one of them. I love his enthusiasm whether he is fishing in London or abroad. For those without pots of money try to buy equipment Nash is the company to buy from as the prices are good for reliable gear as well.
