NO ONE WILL SAVE YOU (2023) *REACTION* FIRST TIME WATCHING! HOME IS WHERE THE INVASION IS 

The director said that the aliens accepted her into their society. The aliens knew she was ostracised by people and they could relate to it. So they let her live as a human amongst the aliens.

They were like “damn that’s rough. Maybe we just let her vibe with us? 🤷🏽‍♀️” 😭

I loved the ending! She wasn't taken over, basically the aliens saw how tragic her past was and how much she just wanted to belong, so they basically sent her back and let her live among them to be part of their community.

Love that you guys watched this, I just randomly cut it on last night. My take is that she found her community in the end!! I think it’s really her. The aliens realized they could coexist with her, that all she wants is to be accepted. She spent her entire life trying to atone for what she did to Maude, but she never forgave herself. She was already an alien to humanity and herself, but in the end, she’s like Dani from Midsommar where she’s just accepted her place in the new society. Also, can we appreciate how clumsy these aliens are. They are as clumsy, if not more clumsy, than Ghostface.

So I think the aliens wanted to see what she was fighting so hard for since she had no family no friends and was basically exiled.. once she forgave herself I feel “mother alien” gave the 👍 for brynn to remain herself because she would adapt to the society that they are creating and would be grateful to interact with anyone 🤷🏽‍♀️

"Did they do all that just to evaluate her grief"? Sometimes when you see an animal hurt and try to save it it will fight and bite you to save itself unwittingly, when you just wanted to help it.

I saw a really good explanation for this movie that they both percieved each other as threats when really they were more outcasts in the same world. Shes not dead, the aliens sympathized with her and saw that all she wanted was to be accepted and included in her community and she lived a really lonely life. So once she realized the aliens werent a threat to her she finally felt accepted and they kind of give her what she wants which was a loving community that accepted her and she did that back with them by coexisting with her. Its actually kind of sad to see her so happy. Basically they were all seen as monsters when really they just wanted a life that was fulfilling.

I loved the ending! I suppose it was technically a 'happy' ending because Brynn survived. interpreted it as the aliens either had sympathy for her, or didn't see her as a threat, or perhaps they found that she would never give up fighting so they just gave her what she had always wanted - a community. However, I don't think it's all happy, I do get Midsommar vibes where the fantasy outweighs the reality of the situation. She's just play acting being part of the town, those people are no longer the residents so she can never truly make connections with them, it's like she is living in her own dollhouse.

This is such a great and unique film! It's like an extra long Twilight Zone episode with great action and superb acting. Adding this to my annual Halloween watch-a-thon!

"We come in peace" to a new level

Too many people disliked the movie because of the lack of dialogue and because they don't understand the movie. While I'm over here thinking this is one of the best Alien movies I've ever watched 🤷🏾‍♀️. The aliens brought her peace, She was an outcast and hated by everyone in town. Now that the town folks are taken over she can interact with them happily.

Movie was SO GOOD and is SO underrated. I feel like a lot of people just won’t really “get” it in the least condescending way possible. It feels kinda like dealing with your demons and your “sins” so to say with being forgiven or not

I LOVED this movie. It felt like an extended Twilight Zone episode.

I don't think it's a bad ending. Nothing leading up to the ending reveal felt sinister or nefarious to me. It seemed like the aliens were impacted by her memories and that they were having a genuine serious conversation about what they should do with her in light of what they'd seen. I think either they brought her to their planet and replicated her home surroundings to try to make her happy or they took over everyone BUT her and just wanted to hang out with her and enjoy her happiness. And considering how thoughtful and empatheticly the story treated her trauma and how everything about the movie steers us towards wanting to care about her and wanting her to be happy, an ending where she's lost her mind and isn't even herself anymorewould just undercut everything the movie has been saying about coping with trauma and practicing self forgiveness. There's literally nothing in the movie that makes me think the writers don't believe she deserves to be genuinely happy at the end.

The ending was happy…if you live in the twilight zone Brynn is a villain!

I thought the EXACT THING when I watched the movie. “I bet she dresses that mini town for Christmas” this is such a unique, kinda heart breaking scifi film. So good.

By the end, she’s actually the only person that DOESN’T have an alien pod in them. And all the people that previously had contempt and malice towards her then love her once they have a pod in them, and she loves them. Everyone else is an alien but her, and she is really happy living amongst them now. 🎉😂

Here in Australia we have to throw back fish we catch if they are too small. Maybe this story presents the emotional version of this? I think the squids ultimately assess Brynn is not going to be a problem and in fact maybe it is even advantageous and fun for them to let Brynn exist within their community. They seem to be having fun with her at the end. In the end we see the world has totally changed for Brynn, she gets on swimmingly with her new squid/human hybrid neighbours. The squids are happy to accept, oblige and accommodate Brynn. They don’t seem to be busy with an alien agenda of their own. They are seen to be happy to be involved in helping Brynn live her best life. It’s ironic! The world is better for Brynn now that it is subject to alien invasion/occupation. I love this story it’s a lot of fun.

Guys, I loved your reaction! Okay, sis has been THROUGH it. She was fighting for her life 24/7 and the aliens were like: "Okay, shes kind of messy, but she slayed (literally)." and they accepted her into their "society" 😂 I LOVED that movie.

Waited until I watched the movie to watch this video and I was not expecting this movie to be a hit! I knew nothing going in and loved it!

My theory is that she is still herself at the end but everyone else has been body snatched by the aliens.

Watched this when it dropped and the aliens scared me so bad lol one of my fears is being abducted so it got me so hard 😭

No wonder Stephen King thought highly of this movie. This became one of my fave horror movies of all time after watching it. Kaitlyn Dever did a great job here. Effects were awesome. This movie makes me think an alien invasion and conquering our world might be the best thing to happen to our world. Or I'm completely wrong and I'm insane for even thinking this. Also i think she hung up that phone because that was someone cussing her over the phone i think. Love your reaction vids. Please keep it up

She is not dead at the end, she is back on Earth, and herself. Everybody else is taken over however, look at the squiggly movements on some people's necks. Great film, odd ending.. many hated the ending, but I think it's one of the things that makes this film truly original, and we need more originality. Love this film. Looking forward to whatever this director has planned next. Kaitlyn will be in season 2 of The Last of Us, that I do know. Brian Duffield is working on something called Vivien Hasn't Been Herself Lately (now there is a understated title, if I ever saw one), the synopsis of which says, "A young married couple struggles to survive against a supernatural entity." 😁

That shot of her being chased looks like scene from ten clover field lane or quiet place lol.

The way everyone waved back to her at the end and all stopped at the same time was clear she was living in some kind of false reality. The fact anyone was waving back at all said it all. It's not clear why she killed Maude other than the two appeared to have some kind of fight, but I wish we had had more time on the scene to watch it escalate. They could have been shouting at each other but have the sound muted from the audience's perspective.

Watched this last night. It was alright. There were some creepy moments but the cgi kind of ruined it during some parts. The lead actress was by far the best part. She was fantastic!

What happened like they said in lost and supernatural. They do what they want when they want how they want lol.

I did not expect this movie to go the way it did! I 100% thought it was going to be an alien invasion take on the trolley problem. Basically, I thought that people were marked to be taken and if they refused to go, the aliens would murder, take or destroy anything and everyone in their path trying to get to their mark. That’s why I thought the town hated her-because she refused to let the aliens take her-so others (including Maude)were being murdered and taken as a result.

They running the show like in dark skies we just living here cause they want us here like dolls in a bunch of doll houses like in hereditary or smile had similar shots looking down at people from the sky like we watching them from its pov and the world is basically a big dollhouse or diaroma like in hereditary or beetlejuice lol.

Maybe this is like they said the world will be like in the body snatchers movie once they possess everybody they'll be peace happiness basically heaven like you said lol. Maybe some people easy but others especially if yoh went through trauma its probably harder they have to have you face it lol. They gotta see it and the emotion in the alien face is like in body snatchers like dang she did that but don't matter no more happy ending now lol.

I like these A24 kinda ending... just like The Witch, Hereditary & Midsommar, where our protagonist, end up joining (even find solace!) with the antagonist lol kinda wish the action is much more unique/intricate and or gorier tho, since there's not much complexity in the story, they should've up the ante in the technicality...

They did'nt take her body they inexpplicably release her they emphathize with her recognize their shared status as outsiders of the town and seen as monsters so they see her as one of them now that the explain of ending
