I was interested in the video when I seen the thumbnail but there is no waybat all I would ever eat this with having such high amounts of sugar. I'm not a diabetic and I'll keep it that way. Wow too much sugar.

Does the custard smells eggy or raw egg smell?? I made it yesterday,my first attempt for making custard with eggs, I used only one whole egg, however it smelled unpleasant, like raw egg, tho I'd added vanilla, so I added more vanilla that it tasted bitter 💀 so I stored it in the refrigerator but idk how it should smell and what to do, any help please 💀?

hoorayyy!!! - they are great!! - i used rings and a normal flat frying pan - total success!! i popped em out the rings and turned them for a bit to totally set the pancake batter (jst personal taste) and assembled them on a wire rack. the given recipe seems to produce about double the required amount of pastry cream (custard) - another slight twist was i used a third double cream and 2 thirds milk for the custard (i only had semi-skimmed milk and thot it would be wise to build it up a bit!!! this is a really great easy afternoon treat to make in the morning so they are fully cooled when served. 😁😂🤣
