We had quite a few different prototypes but that was the first one! First we wanted to figure out how to even make clip-on earrings, next we tried figuring out how to make them not hurt, and lastly we tested how to make them not look very obviously like they aren’t pierced! We are so happy with the final result and we’re glad you are too 🤍
@@atrenda why did u use such thin plastic? In my experience (I can only wear plastic ear hoops, they look like the same material as urs) they break very easily I mean it looks good, but what if it breaks? It doesn't look like it could be easily replaced?

This is what I’ve needed my whole life!!! I can’t wear earrings because my ears are VERY sensitive! They’re allergic to all types of earrings! Because of this, I need to wear clip ons….AND THEY HURT SO BAD! They also irritate my ears!! This product looks like it doesn’t even hurt! I need to try these!! ❤
Painful clip-on closures have unfortunately been around for years, thankfully we modernized them to be pain-free! Our prototype features a standard clip-on closure that many people recognize from clip-on earrings through the years and even today, however the twist in our prototype is that it is on a modern style, a chunky trendy hoop earring! Our first goal was to make modern clip-on earrings (which is reflected in our prototype of a modern earring as a clip-on), and once we got there we decided we needed to keep going until we made comfortable earrings (because we wanted to wear the prototype but much like other clip-on earrings we couldn’t from the pain) and that’s how we arrived at our product today 🥰 See our latest video for an even more detailed video explanation of our prototype to product process 🤍
as someone who vowed to never get their ears pierced, this is a huge win edit: reason why is bc everyone else pestered me to get my ears peirced, so i went "No, i don't think i will."
@@dazem8for some people they just don’t feel comfortable I guess but for me it’s my sport. It could basically rip out my earrings and stuff if I had my ears pierced . And obviously I could take out the earrings, but by that point I train enough for the holes to just close up😢so ya
This is the first one I’ve seen where the prototype looks like it actually could’ve been and early version of the design instead of a picture of something taped to the regular version of whatever the item was based on.

This is actually so good, I could finally wear earrings on my ears that won’t be irritating since regular ones cause allergic reactions and normal clip ons hurt.
I remember putting on some cheap kids clip on earrings that came in one of those princess dress up packs when I was like 9 or 10, and my aunt literally had to hold me still and carefully pull it off. Because the second I let go and and it clipped on, it dug into my ear and it hurt SO bad I started crying. Even from when I was younger, it would take a lot of physical pain to make me cry, so there's that, for one thing. My ears were also actually pierced so I didn't even need them, I just put them on because they were in the kit. They've been pierced since I was a baby and I'm so thankful my mom did. I never had to remember the experience of getting them pierced or healing, and they healed perfectly. So when I decided I loved earring around 12-13, I was all set!
This is great, I have sensory problems with piercings so I always have to use clip ons but even those get painful after awhile. Nice to see one that I won't hate by the end of the day
It is the exact same design but with a more comfortable clip that doesn’t hurt, is fully hypoallergenic, and looks just like pierced earrings. There is nothing “old money” about the clip showing in such an obvious and fake way, our newest video explains this more and shows the difference on-ear!
Omg this is perfect!! I recently became friends w/ this girl who grew up in a religion where they aren’t allowed to pierce their body & she was telling me she would love some cute earrings but w/ out piercing her body!! I can’t wait to show her this❤️
I like the website thinking that there were like three clip on, but then I realise that every single earring has a clip on version and that just felt so inclusive compared to every other brand for earrings
I once bought these super cute vintage earrings. When I received them they were clip on. I wore them for church but they were so painful I had to take them off even before I left home! Piercing your ears is less painful than wearing clip ons!!! My parents got my ears pierced when I was ten, so I remember.

But hurts a ton to wear, isn’t safe for all metal allergies, and doesn’t look rad at all when worn and having a super obvious clip! That’s why we continued until we made clip-on earrings that are comfortable for pain-free wear, fully hypoallergenic for all metal allergies, and look exactly like real pierced earrings! i think this is like the best thing i've ever seen in my entire life i've been wanting to get my ears pierced for like... 5-6 years now? but i can't bc i do so many sports that don't allow jewelry so likeeee
Yes!!!! I hate the idea of holes like that on my body because having to keep it clean to make sure it stays open and doesn’t heal over seems like such a pain!
For ear piercings, you've gotta wait about a year for you to be able to wear earrings without it closing up. You don't really have to clean it unless if it's infection or the first couple of weeks with the stuff they give you. Me personally I've gotten my earrings pierced three.

This goes to everyone who had a bad experience getting pierced at Claire's or other unprofessional shops that have gotten infections or other issues that have stopped them from getting pierced. Please don't get piercings at places like Claire's, their piercers are NOT trained and they don't follow safety or cleaning protocols at any point in their stores which is how many people get infections. Plus their use of a piercing gun is extremely unsafe since if used to pierce cartilage it has a high chance of shattering your cartilage which basically means you can have hearing problems. Now when I was young I did get pierced at Claire's (lobe, and had no issues and still have them now however a lot of people do) and later on gotten a cartilage piercing which cost more than lobe piercings at shops for the exact same price of 50$. I recommend going to a real piercing shop with professionals, don't let this bad experience ruin your chances of having piercings, I promise it's worth it in the long run because you won't have to keep buying expensive clip on earrings when you want to change the style, since on average clip ons do cost more than real earrings in your average store. I know there is pain attached but I promise the pain is barley there for lobe piercings and it's over I'm just a few seconds with a professional, plus most places use numbing spray from my experience. For reference I have 8 piercings from professional shops in a few different countries. (NOTHING AGAINST THIS BUSINESS!!! If you would like to shop from this business that's up to you, this is just a small detailed PSA for the people who are held back by past experiences! I'm the end it's completely up to you, just be safe.)
