Another great lesson! These videos give me the hope that I can and will play the songs I love in front of an audience and not just in my living room. Hail hail rock n roll!
Great Video Colin. Thank You! Esp for the 2nd solo. My Question - I hope you can help with - is about the chord progression in the solos. Whilst the verses are standard 12bar = 4G 2C 2G 2D 2G your tab for solo1 shows 12 bars as Gx4 Cx2 Gx2 Dx1 Cx1 Gx2, . Then in the second solo (as far as I can gather from the onscreen tab) It's 4G 2C 4G 1D 1C 4G 2C then 10G. Have I got this right?? and secondly - does Chuck do this to make it harder for mortals to follow or is the band just of piste ? Any answers gratefully received. 🙂
Thanks my friend. I have learned that we are all on a journey. I don’t judge anyone to be honest because I have made plenty mistakes in my life. Keep rocking because that’s what counts! 😊👍🎸
@rockabillyrevolution I should hope not 😂 It's Graham. The one in Glasgow that keeps having heart attacks. But I'm still alive, still playing and got myself a Gretsch so learning all this rock and roll just now.
@@KingColomonsdisciple ah that's good news Graeme - very glad you are still alive and congratulations on your first Gretsch. Look forward to hearing you play at some point.
