I can never understand how inter fans (i am one) were capable to compare Lukaku to him. They are both left footed, both huge, tall, strong, quick but this guy shooting technique and pure football skills were on another level.

Well remember, Lukaku was our first "big" signing in a while after the banter era , and he really was the focal point of Conte's tactics and in those 2 seasons with Inter were his best so far , don't let the fact that we ended up in bad terms with him erase what good he has done for the club , Adriano is obviously the better player , but Lukaku was essential in getting the club back to the top .

Supposed to have been R9’s successor. Not quite as two footed, fast or skilled but definitely strong and powerful.

It was awesome seeing him at the 2005confederations, he will be remembered as another gem from Brasil He was unlucky not to win a ucl and worldcup After the messed up 2006wc he lost focus to wait till 2010 where Intermilan won the ucl and Dunga also left him out
