Brian you don't need to apologize for not wanting to work overtime. When I left the Army after 4 years my wife and I started a family. We agreed she would be a stay at home mom to raise the kids. I got a job working 12 hours a day and 8 on Saturdays. I also cleaned office buildings M-F at night for my family. It sucked. You earned the right to get your business started and reap the rewards of picking and choosing your schedule. Appreciate you and your channel. Good luck and thank you ❤
@@thehandymanexperience226 I did I'm retired now and unfortunately I lost my beautiful wife in 2015 after 35yrs of marriage but unfortunately our oldest son had a massive heart attack on March 15th 2014 and it broke her heart she was heartbroken he was a good boy a engineer with CSX railroad he lived his dream of his love of trains. toilet handles, the metal ones rust away, often at the holes for flapper hook. but the aluminum corrodes and wears through, especially if it hangs low under water or just above.

Always something simple ussaly. Thoes electrical pannels looks positively ancient like they use to have glass fuses in it. Thay does happen too the reason I carry a few ceramic wire nuts. The properties we work for if there more than a few things wrong with a toilet 3 strikes its out aka a new one. If it's a old style with hard to find parts it's replaced. The only exception is if the drains are cast iron then I don't wanna open myself up to that can of worms. You can always find work arounds but I really enjoy helping standards that keep me from trading time for product.
I think I only ran into ceramic wire nuts a few times and I probably seen them and thought nothing of it lol 😅 all I'm thinking is that is one old wire nut lol 😆. Yea these places have alot of original toilets, just keeps on getting fixed.
uh-oh those all have the signs of having water/rain in and through the breakers. probably right in the service entrances and down the wires through main breaker and all over the bus. something just by 11:00 it looks like it's going to be expensive for the property owner/management. lol like full panel replacement of all. and more.
As exactly what I said, I used to build it now I maintain it once in a while you get stuck doing shit at work I had to demo a room and make Two rooms out of it framing flooring, electrical Blah blah blah, but I don’t mind occasionally doing it 1:18
Probably a vindictive neighbor cut the power off. I bet they have someone near them and they are annoyed for one of a million reasons. Could be playing music, TV too loud etc. Happens more than you’d expect.
When you moved and hid to turn that breaker on had me laughing I get it’s safe I guess but if it tripped you wouldn’t have a across that you would even see maybe hear a little something 110v ain’t that powerful if it was as 480 or 4160!id say suit up and hide lol but just wanted to say that but I do enjoy your channel I get it your not an electrician busting balls beother
even at 120V/240V the fault current into a dead short with a bad breaker/bus problem can be very bright and send things flying out at you( molten copper/aluminum slag, breaker pieces, springs). don't ask how I know that! I once reached up and twisted a wire nut, connecting romex to old knob and tube. someone somewhere had cross wired something and there was 240v off two separate breakers feeding the wires in the cap, it was loose and wires had previously arced/separated. as I touched it it exploded into an arcing molted ball in my bare fingers, only one breaker tripped and I got a zapped, molted goo fingers and blinded all at once. it was a very low basement and my face was not even a foot away. my buddy beside me jumped, smashed his head and ran away. I don't randomly grab and twist wire nuts anymore(well I still do, but nowhere there's shady looking junk) 🤣
I agree and disagree. I believe in short term pain for long term gain. Always have a plan what you would like to do and work towards that. If you Don't have a plan ur spinning your wheels
