Subbed looks awesome! Just took the dive Into RC rabbit hole myself for the first time. Going to be running a nitro rotary engine just for sound. Almost there!
Great Solid Build, looks awesome!! might try the same thing with the links to stiffin up the shock mount plate 👍🏼..... You know to use Lexan / Poly Specific paint for the body right? the home depot/Walmart fusion /rustoleum stuff etc doesn't work, it will chip like yours is doing as soon as you hit a wall. I'm sure you know just dbl checking in case .. 💯🤙🏽🏁
I'm working on building a Rustler into drag car I'm running a full hobby wing 6s setup on it I need to put shorter front A-Arms on it suck it in a little bit what gear ratios would you recommend running for around 3 to 4s lipo batteries
The AKA tires in the back, are they the 2.2 buggy or the 2.2 truck tire? There is a slight height difference between the two and I love the height and contact patch that the AKAs have on your car. Thanks for the great video and that is one slick ride!!
If you like the black Nova body Proline has the Tough Color Nova which is dyed lexan black so it will never chip. The tough color is only like $10 more than the regular one
They some dual bead locks off of eBay, I've went another route since this video. There are some pretty good alternative option than these tire for no prep
Ok What options have you found for a Beadlocks that has a wider track? Have you had any experience yet with the Big Daddys ? have them on mine love them. But the real power is about to be installed. Do you know if they can be setup to handel the high speed passes?
@@Sullivansky2012 I actually have a set of Big Daddy's that are belted. Check out my lastest video on my channel I do a small overview of the Bug daddy's and where you can get some belts for them.
@@Sullivansky2012 honestly I wouldn't use the big daddy's for anything north of 55mph there's just to much rubber on those tires to tame. I would choose a different avenue, I personally think those tires are more suitable for a 13.5 car for launching better out of the hole. I've been using the DE outlaw's and hitting over 60mph.
At what point do you need a cap pack in the dragsters? I’m a crawler fan but friends are getting into dragging and I have a 2wd slash laying around. Watching videos trying to get ideas on set ups.
Honestly I couldn't really tell you much on the cap pack as I'm not very experienced with them myself. You can get a high C rated battery which will do the trick as well
I use CNHL 6600mah 120c batteries now which I can get about 10 runs easy out of them. I went to a no prep race this past weekend, and I went from 8.4v to 7.4v in 4-6 runs
@@rong648 not really, because I have 4 batteries ready to go at all times. So after about 3 runs I swap them out during a race so I'm not losing to much voltage.
