4:34 into the mission and at this point I would be over run by 4 chargers 2 bile titans and stalkers galore.... at this point I dont know what a game is like without through my 500 kg at my feet and hoping for the best

That is not how the game works. When you see 'bug breach,' just leave the area. Use light armor for speed and use obstacles to break the line of sight. When you break the line of sight, bugs won't follow you, and after the bug breach, you have 90-120 seconds for the next one if you get aggro (or Google 'Helldivers 2 bug breach cooldown'). But use scout armor; to make the game easier. When you learn it, it is pretty simple.

same works against bots. you can even switch one of your stratagems to an orbital barrage. it's an extreme version of one of the best strategies: hit and run.

I know. Bots are stupid. The AI of bots is terrible. But bugs can lock on you. Even if you hide they can find you. If they get a lock on you. You need to find a "weak spot" where you can hide around the extract point. @@RufioGamerPlays you can literally hide behind a rock and bots will lose you. Bugs will chase you across the map. I think their abilities and behavior also affect this. Bugs walk towards your last location. Bots shoot at it. One of these actions finds you.
