Its a demo.. which is basically a song sung for Rihanna (or any other singer) and sent to her, and if she likes it, she sings it and it goes on her single/album.

I like most of her songs too. I have friends who are CRAZY Rihanna fans, they know she doesn't write but it doesn't bother them they still love her. I just don't understand why you keep on denying it. A lot of singers nowadays don't write 98% of their songs. I just wanted to clear things up. There are so many awesome writers out there who don't get enough credit for all the things they do and that really bugs me. THE END.

i think the proper term would be a reference track more than a demo. Demos usually are used by artist for their own benefit. Reference tracks are always for the purpose of one person showing anther person how song is supposed to be sung. Considering how demo is short for demonstration I can see how this could be berrry confusing lol

no, she did not co-write all the songs i just listed. she wrote them herself. and guess what? all music artists these days get help in writing their songs, ok? not just rihanna. she's talented and original.

Aww you're so sweet, so determined to believe that Rihanna does everything herself. Well if you don't believe me just go on wikipedia. Easy. Type in all her albums. And then look et the songwriters. Or look at some interviews and try finding the ones when Rihanna talks about writing her own music. Good luck !

She co-wrote all this songs with a billion other people, Rihanna is not recognized as a songwriter AT ALL. I mean everyone knows that. The fact that her name is in the credits doesn't mean much. In the studio when they have to make an album I'm sure she puts in some of her ideas but she doesnt breath songwriting like some other artists do. I'm not being mean or bringing her down I'm just saying.

She didn't write them herself. What are your sources? I'm a big Justin Timberlake fan and for example he was the one who wrote cold case love with Robin T and Fauntleroy. Just google all this songs. Or type in any of rihanna's albums on wikipedia. Come on Rihanna is no songwriter, she doesn't even claim herself as one, is not presented as one. People write songs for Rihanna present them to her and then they work on the songs with her. Have you heard of Ester Dean for example? But whatever.
